I hate my makeup!
I usually buy my makeup from somewhere like Target, or the drug store or whatever...well...I wanna get some nice expensive makeup that will last and be realllllyyy good...does anyone have some advice on good makeup to get from a deparment store that is not too expensive.

Estee Lauder, in my opion, is the best quality makeup for me. Especially the eyeliner (which is like $6 though...) and they have really pretty eyeshadow shades!

I am not a huge makeup wearer, but you can go to any department store or places like Merle Norman and try it on for free. Just ask the desk clerk. It will help you decide on what works for you.

Well.. it *doesn't* have to be expensive oR fRom a DepaRtment stoRe to be good make up, foR one thing.. but.... foR foundation, I use 'CoveRgiRl's' "clean makeup FRAGRANCE FREE NON PARFUME 30ml" bottle. It glides on smoothly, and comes in *many* diffeRent shades, so you'Re bound to find a coloR that's peRfect foR you. As foR eyelineR... when it comes to liquid oR pencil, it's just a peRsonal pRefeRence. HoweveR, if you ask... MOST people will tell you that pencil is a betteR choice. It's a gReat staRt foR a beginneR who is just getting used to it. If you mess up, pencil is A WHOLE LOT easieR to clean up and Re-do than liquid would be. And if you plan on caRRying it aRound in a puRse oR pocket.. theRe's a chance that the liquid may Ruin. And now foR the pRoducts... peRsonally, I think the two best bRands of eyelineR out theRe aRe "MeRyl NoRman" and "Beautique". "MeRyl NoRman", which can only be puRchased at "The MeRyl NoRman Cosmetic Studios", is pRicey [typically $8.50 - $15.00], but it REALLY IS good stuff. It goes on wondeRfully, and stays on all day!!! On the otheR hand... I happen to think that "Beautique" is INCREDIBLE, howeveR, I've ONLY seen "Beautique" at "Sally's". And "Beautique" is only .99 cents. TRUST ME.. I would NEVER EVER EVER buy cRap make up!!! I get only the best, so please, please, please, please DON'T let this dollaR pRice thRow you off - you'd be cheating youRself out of the best pRoduct out theRe!! I'd PREFER "Beautique" out of ANY otheR bRand of eyelineR!! I could easily go out and buy a $15.00 pencil, but I'd RATHER get "Beautique"! "Beautique" glides on smoothly and REALLY LASTS ALLLLL DAY!!! I CAN NOT pRomote this item enough!! And if you still have doubts... foR only .99 cents.. it's woRth a shot!! Hope I helped!!

Honestly, I always thought that it was for old people but my mom had a Mary kay demonstration and I went and it was amazing. The make up is so light and they have a line of colors and make up for teenagers and younger adults our age. Mary Kay online is a place where you can find a consultant in your area. Also, AVON has really nice make up. The price of both of these suppliers are relatively cheap and they last a long time! Best of luck...*Melissa*

hey well you could go to lyk an actual beauty supply store...target and lyk drug stores do have good makeup ...you just have to kno the good qualities lyk revlon and theres lyk other good companies...if you see a good makeup that you lyk on tv then just go to any store and buy it..!

try clinique, mac, or something like that, it will be more expensive that drug store shit, but soo much better! ask for one of the ladies for help on what you should buy and get a free makeover!

Ulta has some GREAT makeup only it is a bit costly, but it is definitely the place to buy nice makeup.
