i dunno what to do im only 14 and about 3 days ago i got hit in the side of the face with a softball during warm up to a game... my mom took me to the doctor yesterday and he said that i had a concussion and to watch it closly because i might have a slow internal bleeding in my head... he said that if i started to act funny and get slurred speech and can barly walk that i probably need a cat scan to see what all happened for shure.. in the short time that ive have this the back of my head behind my ear has swelled up (i was hit in the front of the head) and i have really bad headaches... im getting to the point where i walk really slow and i almost fall over.. i scared of what will happen and when my friends found out they all started crying... the person who threw the ball that hit me in the head cant forgive herself and i dont know what to do.. i dont know whats gunna happen and i just need some help

im so sorry babe..i really dont know what to say to this all we can do is hope your okay go for the cat.scan and see what happends good luck sweetie :-* ]
It sounds like you should visit the doctor again, just to be on the safe side. Don't worry too much - the scan is only to check what's going on. It is frigtening to have to have it done, but it is just a precaution at this stage, from which the doctors can look at what, if anything, needs to be done to help you. *Hugs* ]
take the catscan. hopefully nothin is rong. good luc ]
i had a cat scan, wen i was 11 (nothing to be afraid of!) i also had to get a spinal tap...but go to the doctor if u almost fall over wen walking, i had a headache for 4 days, then went to the doctor, thats wen i found out i had meningites..the operation could have made me not walk again.. i should be lucky. ]
I think you should go back to the doctors and get a cat scan. If he said that if you can barely walk, you should get a cat scan. If you don't treat internal bleedings, there's a chance that you can die. I'm not trying to scare you but it's true. It's better to make sure you do get a cat scan because if you don't, things can turn bad. As for the person who threw the ball, I don't know what you could do. Hope I helped and good luck with everything :) ]
