My friend is hanging out with a guy who loves to wrestle...
Question Posted Sunday August 29 2004, 8:03 pm
My friend liked this guy for a while, so I decided to in a way set them up. He had quite a lot of free time, so they started to hang out with each other often. He really likes to wrestle, and has always asked us to try to trip him or flip him over. My friend decided to try to do it again and again, and she'd always loose. Sometimes she gets hurt, and asked him to stop, but sometimes he just do it again. He puts her down sometimes, and my other friends and I can't tell if he was always joking or not. They spend a lot of time alone, but my friend don't really know him that well. She's a pleasing kind of person, and I read an article in Teen People that made me worry a little. Is it normal for them to be always wrestling? Am I just paranoid?

If your friend asked the guy to stop and he didnt..then I think the issue needs to be addressed. I would talk to your friend about it..maybe then she`ll talk to the guy. If not..maybe you can talk to him. Its cool to wrestle with a wrestler for fun :) but it shouldnt get competitive! Hes experienced in it..and shes not..so it doesnt balance. Tell the guy that maybe. But if this doesnt work..you`ve done all that you can and i wouldnt stress over it.
Hope I helped out a lil?
