i would walk 3 miles every other day? 1/2 mile run on the days when i dont walk? how about that? or would running about 2 miles be better instead of walking fast? like for my legs..to be toned, a nice tight butt/legs kuz i have a big butt but it looks gross lol im not fat but lol idk!

Ugh. My best friend kelly thinks she's a really good singer. The problem is... she sux! She's also going to be in the talent show and perform a song. If she's your best friend- you really have to find a way to tell her- don't let her embarrass herself. Try video taping or recording her singing, and maybe she will realize, or just.. let her do it- I mean people won't tease her really, I've heard ALOT of bad talent show acts and the next day it was no big deal. If its something she loves, maybe she should do it. But if she's really THAT bad, tell her maybe she's just not ready yet for it. well im really trying to lose weight and my friend told me to run a mile 5 days a week then next week run 2 miles and so on if i did that up to 10 miles how long would it take me to lose about 45 pounds?
Hey! I'll be completely honest- it's not going to be easy to loose that much weight. Try eating healthier, more balanced, don't eat after 7:30 PM, try healthier snacks, taebo, tennis, dancing, whatever will make you happy and having a healthy lifestyle! I recently read a way to loose like 6 lbs a year by just drinking ice cold water with every meal. You should tell your friend that you were just kidding, and if she doesn't understand then she's not fully hearing you out anyway and probably not worth getting upset over. alright, i know im usually the one givin advice on my advice column, but i feel like i can do more to help the world than just that! like in teen people magizine, how they're all these kids who are doing so much--like giving toys to poor children and started organizations and food drives! and helping with cancer and stuff! believe me i know this will take work, but i really want to start something with sending bibles or supplies over to africa or anywhere poor around the world. there are so many people who dont even know who jesus is! i just want to lend them a helping hand, maybe even get some way to put a table of contents in there to show them where certain stories are! Okay i used to be REALLY good at school, but now my last report card i got four C's and one D. Wich is really bad for me! i got ONE A and that was in gym! I'm trying to get into The School Of Proforming Arts (a highschool) and you need amazing Grades to get there! How do i get good grades with still being able to hang out with my friends enough?
Ask your friends to come help you in a study group- tell them the importance of getting accepted into the school- if they are true friends, they will so help! You can also try to equally balance time studying and with friends - weekends, esp Friday nights and Saturdays are perfet for hanging out! Hey- I believe every 6 hours otherwise you can suffer from TSS. I read a SUPER scary thing about this girl who left it in for longer than 6 hours and her skin peeled and she got really sick - so I would say 5 hours then for safety. But being a newcomer to all this, talk with your mom or someone that you are close with, and try pads- they really aren't that annoying once you get used to them! Oh My GOd! My sister is so annoying, She Wears my clothes, wakes me up at 5:00 on the weekends, hits me, puts fake worms in my bed, Steals my C-D's, and my parents do NOTHING about it! HELP!
She probably really looks up to you- sisters can be annoying but in the end, they are worth it! Sit down with her and ask her if she'd like it if you did that to her. She probably doesn't realize what she's doing- believe me I've battled with a younger cousin lol. Hope I've Helped!
