okay so I have this best friend who is really clingy and obsessive. If I don't get to call or talk to her in like 3 days she freaks out. She calls basically 4 times a day and exspects me to always be waiting by the phone to answer it. Recently I haven't been able to talk to her and she claims I have changed, that I've been miserable and sad, and that I've been hiding from the world. I seriously have no idea what the heck that means.. and I even told this to her; yet she still doesn't make any sense. Another thing she does is freak out when she finds out I'm hanging out with other friends that she doesn't nessisarly like. It's like she wants to spend every second of the day with me and sometimes it just gets on my nerves. I mean I love the girl to death but I always feel like I'm being suffocated. Help! what should I do?

sometimes i can be like that, like when im bored, i always call my best friend, and since my mom works and i dont have a car, it just seems like a natural thing to do. and i probably call my best friend like 5000 times a day. she just likes talking to you, and really enjoys been friends with you. shes probably also kinda jealous, just tell her that you have other friends, and sometimes you are busy, but whenever you are not, you wanna hang out with her. she might feel like youve kinda forgotten about her, and thats why maybe she keeps calling? because she wants to stay friends with you. just tell her to only call you like once, and to leave a message, and you'll get back to her as soon as you can.
I was wondering if I could make a suggestion for a friend in need. She has terminal cancer and the doctor says there is no hope for her. Her and her husband have lost everything they own. He can not work for having to stay with her 24/7. She loves having family and friends over and the place they live in now they can't do that. She loves having her watnots out and love seeing them. I wish I could give her a wish of having a place of their own and being able to have all of her favorite things that she loves out to look at in her last days. Wish that you could do something for her.

I have an annoying friend and she always talks about her self. I like her because we are besties, but she only talks about HER and what she will be doing and who she talked to and blah blah blah... Everytime I talk about me or anything other than her she changes the subject or doesn't listen to me. She also would ditch me to sit at the back of the class or with cooler people, and she doesn't care if i end up sitting by myself. Please help me, I don't know how to let her know she is making me angrier every day. What should I say to her?
PS. I have tried talking to her about it but she refused to listen and wouldn't take in what I was saying.
I'm not gonna lie, sometimes I do that.. I'll start talking, to begin about my day, and then whoever im talking to will say something about themselves, and ill respond to it, but like, i just keep going, and then 5 minutes later, im like oh shoot. and then i just like stop talking and ha. yeah, i mean maybe shes doing that. however though, i would never ever ditch any of my friends to go hang out with people who i thought were cooler.
you have two options, either just stop talking to her, and make new friends who like you for you, and wont ditch you.
or
try talking to her in person, so she cant change the subject, and just tell her its hurting your feelings.

My friend's mom said that I couldn't dye my hair at her house. I did it anyway. My friend helped me dye it, too. She must have let some of it drip onto the hard wood floor, and her mom got very mad at me and said I had to pay for it. I brought over cleaning supplies and took the spots out of the floor, though.
I got a phonecall a few days later from my friend's mom. She said that the towel that I used when drying my hair got dye on it. She also said that she used that towel on her $100 swimsuit and it is now covered in hair dye and ruined. The swimsuit is a year old, and only the bottom piece is "ruined".
What do I do? I don't have $100 to give to replace a year old swimsuit. And I honestly think that she put stuff on her swimsuit just to get a new swimsuit for free.
Even though its a year old swimsuit, and you get the stuff off the hardwood flooring. You still did something against what she said to do. Which is rude too. Its your fault, pay for it. Next time don't do that at a friends house. I know you don't want to pay for it. But you know if someone ruined something of yours no matter how old it is, you'd be angry and want them to pay for it too. A year old isn't really that bad..but I guess that depends on where you live. If she only used it in the summer, then its not like its some old bathing suit. So I think you should pay for it..
i dont know what topic this is so anyway....im a light sleeper....when there is a bad thunderstorm..i get really scared..so i go into my moms room and sleep on the floor..i feel pathetic because im 13!!!I always think of thunderstorms as a horror movie......which i cant stand horror movies...mom thinks its because when i was very young i saw my dad punch my mom and her face was bloody...i screamed and cried..my mom and dad are divorce.....i dont think my friends respect that i get easily scared and cant watch movies or i get nightmares because they bring them to sleepovers to watch so im in another room watching tv feel so stupid...when we play hide and go seek in the dark i get scared because im still afraid of the dark that i need my tv on....
about the thunderstorms...i have lived in a small-medium town my whole life...and soon ill be moving into the country....country also reminds me of horror films for some reason...how can i deal with these kinds of things!!!!????

I don't like scary movies much either. Whenever I have boyfriends, thats what they wanna do. I think they think I'm flirting with them or something, when I'm hiding under their arm, but I'm not, I'm just freaking out. I saw that when a stranger calls, it wasn't even like scary I guess, but the whole movie I was like screaming. Its okay, you still go sleep in your moms room sometimes. I know you think you're old, because you're 13, but you're really not, and its not a big deal. I'm 16 and when I have a bad dream or something, I do too. Alot of people do, whether they admit it or not. When they bring a horror movie over, just tell them I get really bad nightmares from it, and I don't enjoy it at all. If they wanna go to a scary movie, then don't go with them. If you know any other friends who arn't a big fan of scary movies, ask them to see a different movie with you. I would hate moving to the country too, because I hate the dark, and you're like not close to other things. I don't really know how to tell you not to be afraid of thunderstorms, only you can get over that. I guess just occupy your time. Do something while theirs a thunderstorm, watch a funny movie, anything.

To start off, I would consider myself to be generally fair skinned. I have light hair, green eyes, and faint freckles. Last summer my skin actually started tanning when in the sun, instead of burning, so since then, I have been able to tan lightly. But my problem is my legs. No matter how long I sit in the sun, my legs never change colors. And if they do, it's barely, and the tan usually disappears after I shave anyways. I occasionally use self tanner, but during the summer it just becomes a hassle to have to reapply reaplly reaplly; and id rather not visit a tanning salon just because it seems like a waste of money. So I was wondering if there were any suggestions as to how to get my legs to tan, and stay tan...
You're not suppose to shave your legs until 6 hours after you have tanned/been outside, because shaving your legs takes off the first layer of skin. I know, I didn't know this either, and I go to a tanning place all the time, and I was reading Seventeen and it said that. Try using tanning oil. It makes you tan alot faster. Its also not annoying like spray on tans or whatever, because you don't have to always apply it. It also doesn't turn you orange either..
Tanning salons are not that expensive. I use to think that to, until a friend of mine told me, how they arn't. Atleast where I live, they range from 15-30 dollars. Pending on what kind of package you get. When I go it was 20 dollars a month, unlimited. I calcuated it out how much it was, and each day it was only 89 cents. so thats not bad.
hi well this is about me & my boyfriend.. we both have trust issues..but weve been dating 7 months so we trust each other with everything..but im very paranoid bout him going thru my phone..bc, well my parents split up & now my mom & i are dirt poor, & i cant afford my phone. so, im REALLLY not proud of this, but i send this guy..pictures..& he pays my bills. so he text me last night saying "hey sunshine" & my bf saw it..& he kept asking who that text was from & i was drunk so i said idk then i deleted it. & then he saw i deleted it..& now he says he doesnt trust me anymore bc of me not telling him (he doesnt know about the pics..) & i feel so hurt bc he doesnt trust me anymore (but i would feel the same if the roles were reversed) but i dont have any money and i dont consider it cheating bc idk this person, theyre on another coast, & i have NO feelings for him. but it kills me inside whenever i do it & i want to regain my bfs trust but i just dont know what to do..about any of it..please help??
To be honest, I don't think what you're doing is that bad.
I mean it is, but hey, do what you gotta do.
However, if you arn't starving, have a roof over your head, and clothing, your good. Cell phones are pretty much a a materialistic item. You don't really need it. They still do have pay phones in many areas. I'm sure you have friends that have cell phones.
I think you need to tell your boyfriend whats up. I think you need to talk to him in person, and explain to him, what your doing. I don't think he'll be happy with it, honestly. But, if you don't tell him, hes gonna lose all of his trust from you, and thats not good.
I personally, think that you should stop sending this guy pictures, if your eating, have clothing, and shelter. Which, I have a feeling you do..if you have a computer & such. But, if you feel that your cell phone is something that you absolutely cannot live without, then.. hmm. its your decision. If it was me, and I wanted like money, because I was extremely poor and hardly ever getting food, and living in a box, I'd do it. But, I'm guessing, thats not how you live.
Its not good to have him pay your cell phone bill, because that probably means he knows your address, and everything. You should of had him send you cash to a PO box... but its too late for that now. How did you find this guy anyways?

i really want to get in shape for the summer. and i work out at night but its just too much for me. i have a membership to the ymca but i dont have time to actually go there or get a ride since my parents work at nightish. having a treadmill would really help me manage my time and get in shape fast.

It's.. decent. My treadmill costs me over 1000 dollars. its amazing. it depends whats you really want from it. do you just want something to walk on? and see how many calories your burning? or do you want something, with lots of different levels, and challenges? I clicked out of that picture, but i think yours only said it comes with 4 different levels? mine comes with 12. & a whole bunch of other things. so i dont really know... what you exactly want it for. thats something you deffinitly need to consider. Pending on your age, which it sounds like your younger then 16, because you can't drive yourself anywhere.. i suggest babysitting, paper route, anything similar to that.
Honestly, if you wanna get in shape. You're gonna have to cut out all the junk food. if you really wanan lose weight. because, i'm not sure how much you've actually ever used a treadmill, but when I work out, at my speed like 4.5 or something. for an hour, i think the most i burn up is 500 calories. and i think thats a little higher then it is. sooo yeah.

So I just found out my best friend is bisexual . Ok bigg deal right? So why doesn't everyone else at my school see it the way I do? me and another friend, have two other friends, who wont leave us alone. they are just very annoying, not in the gossipy way, they just act like 8 year olds. thier older than us, but they act younger than us. and they are very sensative. when we tell them that we dont want to hang ouw thih them anymore, they still follow us. and we dont want to say that we dont want to be their friend, like we dont want to come out and just say it, cause the last time we did that, they went home, and told our parents, and then we got in trouble. so we need a way to tell them, with out actually telling them. weve already tried telling them that we needed a break, and they said that we could do that, and then the next day, they followed us everywhere again. and they brought their parents into it, so then we had to be friends with them. so what is a way that we can tell them we dont want to be friends with them, without actually...telling them??

Whats the big deal with hanging out with them? You're hurting their feelings, just tell them VERY VERY VERY nicely, just be like, were different then you guys are. We don't have much in common. I just don't think we'll work out as friends, and I don't wanna hold you back from hanging out with other people. If their parents call you, you, not your mom or dad, should answer the phone, and if she says like why don't you wanna be friends with my daughter, then just say, were different, you can't force me to be friends with them. Tell your parents you don't like them.

Nope, sorry. Hes not your property, you don't own him. I understand what you mean, been there done that. But, shes not doing that on purpose. Shes probably not jealous of you either. Like, this one time, my best friend was daitng this one guy, who i hated in the beginning, and we all hanged out in a group, and I always talked to him, and I just got an attraction to him. She can't help it if she likes him. Its just a boy, no need to start World War 3 over the kid, if it bugs you that much, like someone else, and if she ends up liking him, trying setting her up with someone else, or just asking her, "Why do you always like the people I like?"

I'm pretty sure guy or girl, wouldn't like being lied too. I know I wouldn't like being lied too. And basically, being lead on. I'm a little confused though. how old are you? I mean are you like 14 or something, and hes 18? or are you like 18 and hes 22? if your like 14 or something and hes 18, then I don't think you should continue to like him. Hes much more experienced then you, and knows alot more thne you do. Even though you insist he doesn't. He does, thats a big age difference. And i'd just stop liking him.
However, if your like 18 or 17 or something, then i'd continue to like him, because obviously as you get older, age difference isn't really that big of a deal.
either way, however old you are, you need to tell him you're real age. thats not fair to him, or you. if he doesn't end up liking you for your age, then oh well, maybe you guys can still be friends?
