To get your permit- 15
To get a restricted licence- 16
To get your full licence- 18

restricted licence is where you can drive but you have certain rules to follow. (i.e. can only have 1 person in your car for the 1st 6 months of driving, can't drive between the hours of 1am and 5am and stuff like that you will have to read in the drivers book.) those are the rules in Missouri they might be different in you state.
