You can get them at a lot of places, usually. Walmart usually has some, but if you want a good variety without having to buy them online, you may want to check your local tattoo parlors. They usually have a good amount of body jewelry.

Hey. I have a few questions.
I just got a Crested Gecko today.. it was a bit of a spur of the moment decision. I figured I had an aquarium I can put him in until I get my next paycheck and can afford to buy him a terrarium... and I bought a florescent bulb to heat his area, plus one of those heating pads you stick on the outside of the tank.. but I read the instructions on the heating pad and it basically said 'use only on terrariums, not aquariums'.
So my question is... why is that? Why cant it be used on aquariums? I know generally you dont hold lizards in aquariums, but it's just temporary until I can afford a new terrarium for him.
Any advice? Also, can I still use the heating pad on the aquarium anyways? Or will it simply not heat the area up? Do you think he'll get sick if I don't have a heating pad for him until my next paycheck??
I don't want to risk anything bad happening to him.
I want to make sure he'll be okay for the five days until I get paid. Need help asap!

I don't have a crested gecko, but I have a bearded dragon so I can tell you a few basic things right off the bat: Heating pads usually aren't a good idea. When I got my beardie, I was told numerous times not to use them because they can cause burns to the lizard if they lay over the pad for so long, so I'm assuming the same would go to geckos.
For housing, you'll need probably a 20 gallon tall aquarium once your gecko is around 4 months old. For heating, the enclosure's temps should be between 72 and 80 degrees, but can go down to the mid 60's. I'm getting all of this from a site, which I'll link to, but I'm just letting you know that I can't guarantee all of this is correct. It says that if the enclosure is 85 degrees or above, it can stress the gecko out. In most cases, as long as your room doesn't get too hot or cold, room temp can work. I suggest getting a digital thermometer, the non-digital ones usually aren't accurate. If your gecko's enclosure is too cold, you can use just a basic, low-wattage light bulb, but make sure you check the temps every so often cause you may need to change the bulb to a higher or lower wattage. Put the heat source to one side of the tank, so you'll have a warm side & a cool side. You defiantly need a UVB light during the day, too.

I really want snakebite piercings (the lip peircing on both sides of your bottom lip). The problem is, I'm worried about how much it will hurt. I do have my ears, nose and belly button pierced, so it's not like I'm a piercing virgin. How is the pain compared to getting your nose/belly pierced? Is there anything I can do to make it less painful or maybe even afterwards, like tylenol to help? Also, how do you brush your teeth afterwards, like the bottom? Thanks!
I've had three lip piercings, but I lost the middle one so now I only have snakebites. I've also had my nose pierced before, & I can say that for me, the nose piercing hurt a lot worse than the lip. It really depends on your pain tolerance, but since you have other piercings, you should be able to handle it. I'm not saying it doesn't hurt, though, but it's mainly just a sharp pinching feeling. Afterward, though, it will probably throb a little, & your lip might swell. Don't eat or drink anything with dairy in it for 24 hours after getting it done, like cheese, milk, etc... This will help lower the risk of infection. You don't really need to do anything special while brushing your teeth, & I don't remember ever having a problem with that. Just rinse your mouth out really well afterward. My piercer recommended half water/half antibacterial mouthwash.
Just wanted to add this, too: After getting it pierced, my piercer always says to suck on ice if the stinging is bothering you. I would go to Dairy Queen & get an Arctic rush, though, & let the little ice things sit in my lip for a minute, but that's just me. lol.

My boyfriend has collected California unemployment for the last 6 months after being laid off and it recently ended. He got something in the mail asking if he wanted to continue his claim. Thing is, he is starting his own business with a friend and just getting it together. It will obviously take time to build clientele and acquire all the necessary supplies and such. He has done two small jobs already. They have not gotten a business license yet. My question is, can he not continue to receive unemployment benefits because he now has started his own business? even though they will not make more than 0-200 dollars a month until things get going or perhaps even not pan out and they have to give up? We do not know how to go about this, anything helps thanks
Situations like this can be tricky. I wish I could help you more, but things like this are usually based on the specific situation. He should probably call the unemployment office & explain the situation & his concerns, & they can tell you more.

Okay so the state I live in has had an outbreak or whatever. A few counties over schools are being shut down. And i was wondering if there might be a possiblity to get it.
Right now I am sick, I have been since 5 am. when i got up yesterday for school, ( been in high school two weeks this thursday) It first felt like someone had beat up the inside of my throat with a baseballbat. It could just be a normal cold, but there's no way to be sure. You should go to your doctor, just in case. It doesn't sound like a big deal, but it'd probably be best to have it checked out.

"Popping a cherry" actually means tearing your hymen. Even if you were to tear it before you have sex, it would still probably hurt due to the tightness. I've heard of people tearing theirs while riding horses or even bikes, so it is possible to tear it before sex, but I doubt it would make it hurt less.

2 weeks ago my fiance and I of nearly 2 years broke up, she said I had become like a brother to her, but we were going to try to work it out. We were already dealing with a lot of stressful family situations as it was. Things were going as well as they could be, until her cousin called her, and said that my parents and I said that she left for a bunch of reasons, none of which were actually mentioned. She tried to call later that night, but i had fallen asleep for a couple hours, i didn't want to call her back, and wake her dad up, because he drinks a lot, and I didn't want to start trouble. She got worried that I did something to myself, and had a friend drive by, which I was already up(this was 3 in the morning), and she saw me through the window, now she thinks I'm lying about that. Then someone told her I was going to hurt myself, so she'd come to see me, but I never said it. Now she's deleted all history of me from her life it seems, right down to deleting me from her myspace, and all the pics of us. I really think this is the girl I was meant to be with. Is there any hope of me getting my soulmate back, or did her cousin win? And what exactly might be going through her head?
This is a tough situation. Even if you two get back together, chances are there will still be some trust issues, & trust is a really important part of a relationship. Do you really want to go through this every time her cousin says something & she believes it? Also, if she sees you more like a brother, chances are she'll never be fully comfortable in the relationship. I'm not trying to be mean, this is just what I've seen before. If you really feel like you can work things out, then go for it, but I've felt like I've found "the one" so many times, & every time I end up finding someone better. okay so when I was younger I was overweight. Now, I'm thin. The only problem is..I got stretch marks due to being overweight when I was younger.
my questions are:
do guys care if you have stretch marks? like a boyfriend or something?

From what I've heard, stretch marks will eventually shrink & lighten in color, but they'll probably never go away. As for treating them, I've heard cocoa butter works, but I've never tried it. There are also products you can buy specifically for stretch marks. If the stretch marks are really bad, you can get a skin peel or laser treatment type thing, but I wouldn't recommend it.
As for guys, all guys are different. Personally, I have a few stretch marks, & none of the guys I've dated had a problem with them. A lot of girls have them, so I don't see it being much of an issue. Besides, if a guy can't handle them, they're probably not a good guy to be with.

There aren't a whole lot of pros to getting a piercing besides the fact that you want one, & it might look cool to some people.
The cons are: The risk of infection, scarring, the tongue ring chipping your teeth, among other things. Personally, I've had seven piercings total before, so you need to decide whether it's worth the risk.

You did absolutely nothing wrong in breaking up with him. If you're not happy in a relationship, you shouldn't feel like you're stuck in it. If your friends believe this rumor, then they're obviously not very good friends. I know it can be hard to deal with, but there's probably not much you can do to make them believe you. All that matters is you know the truth, & if they don't want to believe you, I say forget them & find some better friends.

I have it on my computer & there are a lot of new features.
The biggest difference is probably the huge open neighborhood. Unlike the other sims games, there are no loading screens when going to a community lot. You can visit your neighbor's houses, go to city hall, or any other community lot. Each career track has its own building, so you can drive to work each day. You go to the store to get groceries.
Now, instead of getting a zodiac sign, you can choose different traits for your sims, like evil, klepto, good, stuff like that, so each sim is unique. You have the ability to customize clothing & items with different patterns & textures, & make them whatever color you want. You can customize your sim's hair with different colored roots, base color, & tips.
All sims in the town age with you. They grow old, get married, have kids, move out, new sims move in. It's actually a lot of fun. There are alot of other new features that you can read about online, too.
