What are skin tags?!

Question Posted Sunday August 23 2009, 11:55 pm

My mom was talking to her friend on the phone about something she called a skin tag. What in the world is a skin tag? I am pretty sure my mom doesn't have a tattoo and she looks normal to me. She is white, by the way, if that matters any. I'm just curious is all (and wondering if I have them too and just don't know it).

What's a skin tag?

It's a piece of skin, much like a mole except it is kind of different. It's nothing bad and you can get them taken off too.
