The world isn't going to end. Everyone panicked when it came to the year 2000 & we're still here 9 years later so don't worry. We're not going anywhere. [ christina's advice column | Ask christina A Question ]

My best guess as to why it ended there was...why make a calendar and continue it for thousands of years? They probably just found a decent stopping point and ended it. Just because you own a 12-month calendar and it ends on December 31st, does that mean the world ends after that day? [ K3587's advice column | Ask K3587 A Question ]
es answered Monday August 24 2009, 4:22 pm: Did the world end on June 6, 2006?
I don't think so.
Were you freaking out then too? Cause apparently nothing happened. [ es's advice column | Ask es A Question ]

The world is probably not going to end, and even if it does, that doesn't make the people who said it would right, it make it an amazingly lucky geuss.
