hey... so how do you get so good at giving advice?
I think you need to place yourself in others shoes. If you make yourself feel like the other person that is asking the question, I'm sure you'll be able to give good advice to them. You could also think that the person that is asking for advice is one of your bestfriends. Then you'll be able to give them advice that is straight from the heart. But when you are giving advice on this site, try to think of everyone as your friend that you really need to help out and be honest with your advice.

Hey i have really thick curly hair, and i was wondering if anyone knows of anything i can put in my hair that will make my curls more defined but not make hair look thinner..cuz i've tried gel and mousse and it makes it look nice but still pretty puffy. Thanks
Oh girl. I totally feel you on this. I have really thick curly hair too. Anything that has to do with the Aussie brand is amazing. I really suggest their mouse or spy. It works really well. There's also hair products out there that you can buy that will defind your curls. You might want to go to your local store that holes hair products and checking it out. I'm sure you'll be able to find something that definds your curls, and doesn't leave them hard and such like mouse usually does.

I found out that someone that my brother knows smokes ciggarettes and i think im just going to stay out of it but i want a second opinion!
I'd just stay out of it sweetie. It's his/her life. If they want to smoke, leave them. There really isn't too much you can do about it.

Kazaa's really bad for bugs and such, I don't think you should download it at all. Why don't you download Ares? It's a really good downloader! I've been using it for awhile now and I haven't had any problems with it. Go to http://www.downloads.com and type in Ares, I'm sure you'll be able to find it.

ok i'm almost 13, i havent gotten my period yet and all my other friends have. should i be worried? i mean im 53 and 120 lbs what should i do?
Don't worry about this at all sweetie. It's totally normal, you'll start, just give it time. Different people get their periods at different times. Some people only start their period when they're 15, while others start at 13, it's different for everyone. Ask your mom when she got her period, it usually comes when your mom had hers.

At first your period is always irregular, but it'll get regular over the years. Still, your period will come around once a month. You should get it around the 1st of every month.

Be sweet to him, be there for him when he needs to talk to someone, always try and make him laugh, make a lot of eye contact, smile at him whenever you get the chance, flirt a little, be yourself around him, talk to him about stuff you are both interested in, tell jokes, etc.

Me and my boyfriend were talking and he told me he doesnt want me to hang out with Derrick even though ill have my best friend Ann with me.. My bf will be at the lakes. So, he's saying that you can't hangout with your friends, one a girl and one a boy, but yet he can hangout with his friends, when there's two guys and one girl? That make's no sense what so ever. It's like he's saying it's alright for him, but not for you. Yes! You're totally right! You're allowed to have friends and he shouldn't be stopping you from this. Hangout with your friends, who cares what he says. If he's trying to control who you hangout with, he's not a good boyfriend in the first place. hey, i had my period like 15 days ago and today i noticed that there was a little blood on my underwear and kind of coming , out but it was brownish( didnt look my the usual blood) and it kept randomly coming today, it was grosse... whats it from?
You know, the same thing has been happening to me lately. I finished my period about 10 days ago, and I still had a little bit of blood coming out that was brownish, not really the "normal" color. I asked my mom and she said it was totally fine, so I'm pretty sure it's fine for you too. I have no clue what it's from, maybe it's because your period isn't fully done yet - I could be wrong, but I really don't know, sorry. Just make sure you wash extra good down there. Don't worry about it though, you'll be fine.
