I'm a 24 year old woman and I don't live with my parents anymore, but recently I stayed with them for a couple of months and I accidentally found out that my father's been looking at pornography on the internet. To say it was a shock is such an understatement. I'm still shaken up and upset after 6 months. My parents have been happily married for over 30 years and I've never ever thought my father would be the type to look at porn. Ever since I found out, I kept a close eye on my father and I started to notice that he does look at young women in mini skirts etc. when we go out. It's raised a lot of questions like, have I been a fool to think my parents are happily married, are they hiding something from me or is he having an affair and on and on. I can't see or think of my father in the same way I used to anymore. It just feels like I've been traumatised. Please help me. How can I get over this?

My daughter is almost 5 and she has a hard time entertaining herself so I can get dressed for the day or do work around the house. She has a lot of toys but rarely plays with most of them and wants to either watch t.v. or follow us around. It drives me crazy and my husband too, because she comes in our room when we tell her not to. I've threatened to throw out her toys, but it does no good. When we get angry she just laughs at us. We tried closing her up in her room but she just pounds on the door and screams that she is scared. We are expecting another child and we are afraid her behaivior is going to just get worse when the baby comes. She does not behave like this for other family that watches her. Anyone got any advice? Preferably parents who can relate to this situation and have some solutions please.
Im not a parent but ill try to help anyways. I think its just a stage shes going trough and it might be just the age. Something to try is when she does something bad or when your andry at her put her in time out (in her room or face against the wall or in a coner ....) 5 mins. My best guy friend wanted to kill himself. At least thats what he told me. He said it was because a girl didnt like him. He said that no one cared and that he had already tried before. It really worried me and I told him that I cared. As I was walking to the bus, it really hit me what he had said. When I got on the bus I realized that i liked him as more than a friend. This is very messed up, so it's going to be hard to explain. Back in February I met a great guy. We went out, got serious, I lost my virginity, became best friends, we broke up. It's important to note that we broke up because I told him I love him. He freaked out and said he wishes he could love me but that he can't love anyone(It wasn't cold hearted, he even cried a little, which isn't normal for him).
After we broke up he briefly went out with a girl who didn't really talk much. My guess is that he was with her because he could just fuck her without any attachments. It killed me to see them together because he even admitted that he didn't care about her. So I told him that since I still felt like I loved him, I couldn't take him being with her. It was literally driving me insane. I told him to chose between me or her and he chose her. Later he broke up with her hoping that he could save his friendship with me and her.
Now I'm sleeping with him again, but we say that we're just friends. It's starting to get to me, though. I really feel in love with him. I have no desire to be with anyone else. I asked him what his feelings were toward me and he said he likes me a lot, and he feels like we can talk about anything, but it didn't really explain how he felt about me. I think he doesn't want to talk about any of that because he's going to college.
We both agreed that we're very screwed up, and care about each other a lot. Is there a way that I can figure out how much he cares about me? Should I worry about the fact that he doesn't seem interested in going out with me? It sounds sketchy when I read this, but when we went out things just got bad. Maybe we're better off this way. And it's not like he's romantically involved with anyone else. I don't know I'm just really confused.
Hmmm....it sounds like you really like this guy. If he says he likes you and like and yall can talk about anything then he has something for ya. You need to talk to him about yall realtionship. Hes probally afraid that if yall go back out that yalls friendship will end when yall break up. Unless you arent one of the main people dont worry about it too much. But you should practice by sing the the notes (doe,ra,me...)Maybe you have a good voice too and you just dont know it! What you hear when you talk isnt your real voice, you cant actually hear your real voice. Scary isnt it? Maybe shes just worried that your going to get hurt, like the past relationships. It might be that she has actually talked to him.
