My question is directed at people who have had a keloid scar and have had it removed in some sort of way.
I have on and it's the size of a dime, on my chest. I would have no problem if it was just a scar (I think they're unique) but this keloid is raised, ALWAYS red & attracts too much attention to my chest. I tried makeup, and steroid injections, neither of the two work.
I'm thinking about doing plastic surgery, but I'm looking for other options, so if you recommend ANYTHING, I'd be grateful. At this point, any ideas would be wonderful.
There are a few things you can do to possibly remove a keloid scar (I have a fairly large one on my upper back from my own stupidity, and I couldn't even get the courage to get the steroid injections). There is a thing called silicone sheeting, or wound dressings with some sort of gel that can help reduce the size of keloids over time. There is also laser and radiation therapy. There where other options, but I can't remember them all. The problem with having surgery to remove a keliod is that there is about a 50% chance that the scar will come back, and possibly bigger than before. Your best bet would be to talk to your doctor about all of the possible options and choose one that works best for you.

hi it is me again the one about me and a guy in school and the one bf and gf.well i just found out he already has a gf!!!!that jerk!!! and his gf is my bff. i mean he asked if i wanted to be his gf. well here at ten i get to talk too him but every time i try to talk he won't answer and he said we r not even friends any more i am going to try to talk to him to see what is going on. other than that plz tell me what i should do to at least be my friend. he was/still is my best guy friend.well i just talked to him and he still hates me plz tell me what to do.
It's exactly like you said. He's a jerk. If he's being so rude, why would you even want to be friends with him? Guys come and go. This one obviously isn't the one for you, and if any of my friends did this to me, well, they wouldn't be my friends for much longer. Don't dwell on this loser.

in few words, im absouluty in love with this girl. i know she loves me as well. but we split up about 3 months ago. she is now with this other guy. she said she love me and this guy is holding her back. i desprately want to be with her. and she is torn between us two. her current Bf stole her from me. he drew her in by his willingness to rush into a physical relationship. i was a bit hesitant because i wanted it to be specail when it actualy happend. so thats realy it. that wasnt nearly as short as i wanted it to be.
I'm really not trying to be rude, but I highly doubt her bf "stole her from you". She was willing to be with him, so he's not the only one to blame.
In my personal opinion, it sounds like she can't decide what she wants. I don't know this girl, I only know what you tell me, so I could be wrong.
If I were you, I'd move on with your life. Go out and have fun, date other people. Don't focus on this. Why should you be miserable thinking about her when she's with another guy? Again, I could be wrong about all of this, and I'm not trying to be rude, but the way I see it, she may be trying to juggle both of you, or use you as a backup.
If you start enjoying life and date again, or just have fun, that could be enough to make her come back, but then it's up to you to decide whether you want to take her back.

It looks like a tattoo with white ink (like the other person said). It could be a form of branding, and although it would be pretty hard to get it to look that neat, it is possible if you have someone who knows what they're doing.

Heyy, So there this guy that I have seen since september and I always think he's soo cute and some of my friends are firends with him . But I'm not good friendss with them so I can't really just go up and start talking to him. So I have a couple options, tell my friend that i think he's cute and to talk to him for me? Or they are on the track team and so are my friends but there not friends with himbut they know that I think he's cute so they think I should go to track and try out so I can talk to them bout track and well be on the same team, but the thing is... I hate running and I am really bad so I would probly embarrass myself? And if you do say the first one .. What do I tell my friend to say to him to seem I interested but not creepy ?

It would be much better for you to talk to him yourself. It shows confidence. As for joining track just to be able to have something to talk to him about, don't do that, either. Plus, in a way, that would be you pretending to be someone you're not. Be yourself and be confident. I'm sure there are other things you could talk to him about. Ask him what kind of music he likes, what he likes to do in his spare time, what his hobbies are, things like that. Good luck.

Do you think jurors researching the various topics or questions individually via the internet in general, or with the several other potential sources such as Twitter, My Space, Facebook, etc does cause a problem or create an unfair advantage to either side in a criminal case before a trial court?
I think if they're researching something related to the case, then yes, that could definitely cause a problem with the case. There have been many cases where a decision has been overturned due to a juror researching a case. Jurors are supposed to base their decisions on the evidence and testimonies in court only.

Zedge (http://www.zedge.net/) has always worked for me. You just select your phone type at the top and it finds ringtones, graphics, and games that work with your specific type of phone. For those, though, your phone has to have bluetooth, because you download the ringtone to your computer, then bluetooth it to your phone.

soooo i know this sounds really strange but i need a way to lose my voice. i have a big part in a play where my voice needs to sound like that. dont ask why haha it just does. sooo how can i make myself lose my voice?
That would be pretty hard to do. Have you tried asking the person in charge of the play to help you? They should be able to teach you how to make your voice have that sound without doing any physical harm to yourself. If you tried to make it happen, it could be pretty risky, not to mention painful.

3 year old girl, autistic with severe delays, abandoned by her father 2.5 years, no support, he doesnt care to know her diagnosis', doesnt call, gave christmas presents via his mother, lives in another state but let a year go by without even trying to see her (4 hour drive). his stepmom calls every few months to see the child. should an abandoned little girl with a family who adores her allow her to see the only one of "deadbeat, past father who abandoned her's stepmother", or cut the family off with the divorce and have him provide his relatives with visitation or not. we want what is in the best interest of the child thanks!
I would let her see the child, at the child's home (just to be safe) with other people present. His family shouldn't be blamed for his mistakes. If they want to see her, what's the harm? What if you don't let her see the child (or the mother doesn't), and she grows up wondering why no one on her father's side wanted anything to do with her?

It's really not a good idea to take "shrooms". First, do you know where they came from? Some mushrooms are poisonous and deadly. Second, there's a risk of an allergic reaction, which can again be deadly. Not to mention, you could do stupid, dangerous things while on them, whether you have a good "trip" or a bad one. Overall, shrooms are illegal and dangerous. Not a good idea.

My senior prom is this June. I haven't even thought about it until last night, when I found out that a CRAPLOAD of girls already have their dresses.

This concerns me because I HATE dresses with a burning passion. I never wear skirts. The only time I've ever worn a dress was to Sweet 16 parties.
So, what are some good dress styles for girls who aren't so fond of dresses? No strapless things, nothing ridiculously over-the-top, please. Pictures appreciated :)

A lot of people go through a stage in their life like this. I wouldn't be so quick to call yourself bisexual or anything like that. I would say you're just curious (call yourself bicurious if you want, that's your choice). These feelings could always fade, or they could grow. It's really nothing to worry about, though.

The first time is always a little awkward. The first thing I have to tell you is don't have sex until you're both 100% ready. Losing your virginity is a big step, and it's something you'll never get back, so make sure it's really what you want.
Second, size doesn't always matter. Just relax and stay calm. Take things slow at first because it will probably be painful to your girlfriend. Use lube and go slow. If she needs to stop, then stop. The first time might be tough, but don't let it discourage you. It gets better with time.

Hi everyone! I have 2 boys, they are 4 and 6 years old. Their dad took them for a 2 weeks holliday this summer and decided not to bring them back to me. They spent 3 1/2 months at his place while i fought in 2 provinces to get them back. It finally happened on november 13th. The oldest missed 2 1/2 months of his first grade school year.
That'S it for the context, now, when i get mad and let's say, put my hands on my hips, the oldest has defensive reflexes, i found out he got hit by his father with a fly swapper and a wooden spoon. They also act out a lot, and my youngest has nightmares that he is being taken by a bad guy, and they end up in my bed every night. They have a very hard time going to sleep. Also, last night the 6yo one couldn't stop crying because his dad took him to a fishing and hunting trip and they shot a duck, since the bird wasn't dead, my morron of an ex got the 4yo one to "finish it"by choking it to death with his bare hands. My son is traumatised, he said he could have taken care of it, that he only had one small bullet in his head and that he could have fed him some of the fish they caught. I think it's horrible that he has to live with such horrific images in his head!
Now, what i'm wondering, is should see a specialist with them, or just let them talk and tell me what they've been through on their own. The father is now only allowed to visit them through a visitation center, and supervised. Also what else can i do to help them get better, understand that they won't get hit by me ever, that they are safe now, all that without traumatising them even more and badmouthing their dad. They are like all kids, even if the father is an idiot, they love him very much.
Someone been there? How long for the defensive reflexes to go away?
You did the right thing by getting professional help. That's probably best for this situation. And there's nothing wrong with you getting that help, too. You're going through this situation with them, so you all need someone to talk to about it.

I'm 99% sure it's going to hurt. The only advice I can give you is to make sure you're really ready for sex. If you jump right in with any doubts, you might regret it later (not saying you will regret it, but a lot of people do). Other than that, use protection, & you're going to need some lube, too. Other than that, just try to relax & not tense up too bad.

I want to have a pet. I'm not talking about cats or dogs though. I would like a small pet that can be kept in a cage. My parents are divorced and I spend one weekend a month with my dad and would want to take the pet with me.
I'd like a fairly intelligent pet. Something that isn't too smelly would be nice. I have heard things about Chinchillas being cute but I have read plenty of times that they are very fragile. I don't want a fragile pet. Cute isn't REALLY important though.
I can do a few hours of maintenance a day with the pet so if it needs walks or playtime that is just fine with me. A friendly animal would be nice...something that could get used to being held sometimes.
My best friend suggested getting a rat but I'm not sure. What would you suggest?
Rats are amazing pets. It is true that you need to clean their cage fairly often, but that's pretty much the case with most caged animals. I've had tons of rats, & they are one of the best types of pets I've had, & I've had tons of pets. I will say, though, that if you don't handle them frequently (at least a few times a week), they can get mean at times, but usually they're great. I had one once that, if I let him out to play in a blocked off area, he would just crawl up on my lap & sit there the whole time.
Degus are pretty good pets, if you can find one, but I'd still go with a rat instead.
I also have a bearded dragon & they are one of the best types of lizards to have as pets. Unfortunately, they need special lighting, a certain size tank, & crickets along with veggies and pellets. Also, their tanks need to be cleaned frequently. If you have the time & money to devote to them, they're great. Mine has never bit me, & like the rat, he loves to fall asleep on my chest.

okay well lately ive been sleeping ALOT and i mean ALOT. ive been super cold where ever i go. ive been like super bipolar lately too like i started crying and in the middle i jus snapped out of it. ive been having numb feelings in my feet and rarely my legs what could this be. my friend keep saying that im pregnant but im on the shot, i know that not 100% effective but idk what could it be ?????? please help! p.s can go to the doctor til next month plus ive been having blury vision sometimes!
This really doesn't sound like pregnancy to me. Things like this can be hard to tell, but if it's affecting your mood & vision, you may need to get to the doctor soon. I know you said you can't go until next month, but you really need to try to get it sooner. It could me something small, but it could be serious, too, & it's best to be safe & not wait when it comes to things like this.
