Senior prom.

Question Posted Monday March 1 2010, 8:13 pm

My senior prom is this June. I haven't even thought about it until last night, when I found out that a CRAPLOAD of girls already have their dresses.

Which made me think: What the hell am I going to wear?

No, this is not your average "omg what will i like wearrrrr" girly question.

This concerns me because I HATE dresses with a burning passion. I never wear skirts. The only time I've ever worn a dress was to Sweet 16 parties.

So, what are some good dress styles for girls who aren't so fond of dresses? No strapless things, nothing ridiculously over-the-top, please. Pictures appreciated :)

You could go with a simple, short dress and a jacket. Maybe something like this: [Link](Mouse over link to see full location)

I would probably go with something fairly simple, nothing too long or dramatic, and none of that rhinestone or glitter stuff.

Maybe something like these, too:

Your best bet would be to check out some stores or even online and just find one you really like.

Hm...

You could try to wear longer dresses or maybe something that is more in your style rather than going with the typical prom girly look. Here are some nice dresses that I would recommend..

(I personally like this one a lot..) [Link](Mouse over link to see full location)

you remind me of a lot of my friends and a little bit of myself, i like dresses but if i can find a way around wearing one i will..if that makes sense. And I love really simple things.

Well I did a little shopping for you, not sure about your style so I got a variety. Of course these are just to look at for a general idea.
