Hey, I love to sing, i take voice lessons and stuff so i know a lot about music, so if you have ne questions about music in singing or instruments, I would be more than happy to answer them. you can IM or email me(IM is below) I am also a poetry and song writing fanatic so you can ask questions about that too. My favourite topics are music and bois (two most difficult exciting things)I am practically happier than i have ever been but i do know what it is like to go through really rough times. I have had a series of extreme problems that i got over and i would like to help anyone get over their problems. I am mostly good with people with any sort of personal problem like an eating disorder or ADD or something like that.

my mom wont let me play the gutire because she thinks its for boys only!!!! isnt that stupid?!?! my friends and i are in a band and i want to learn how to play the gutire! how do i convince her to let me???

Guitars aren't only for boys. Your mother must be a little old fashioned. Try to raise the money yourself to get lessons. Get lessons before you actually buy a guitar though. Try to do this one thing by yourself so she will think that it gave you a little self confidence to do better.

okay i was thinking about getting a tattoo( a little one somewhere) and i wanted to know the best place to put it other than lower back for girls. i know someday i want to have a baby, so i dont want to put it where it's going to get all stretched out. also, what should i get and do guys think its attractive for a girl to have tattoos?

i think lower back tatoos are ugly, so don't do that. Maybe like a rose on your ankle or something, i think ankles are a pretty place to put tatoos. But when you have a baby everything stretches out, so that won't help, you could just get it filled.

Lately my dad has been wanting to spend time with me, and for some reason I just really don't want to. I don't know why, but I feel uncomfortable. Like, he asked me to go to lunch, and I just said "I'll think about it", and then without telling him I went to a friends house, and slept over PAST the next days lunchtime, just to AVOID being asked again. What's my problem? I mean...I still like the guy, but I really want to b left alone. And lately, I've been liking my mom more. Pleeease help me!!! Thanks.

Usually that happens to teenage girls, you are a girl right? Because boys want to hang out with their dads and girls want to hang out with their mom. It's just that that is when your mother starts understanding what you are going through and your dad has no idea what's going on. It might also be his midlife crises and he's acting a little strange which scares you. I hope this helped a little

I have medium-long super straight blonde hair. i was going to go super hippie and grow it out to my butt, but lately i have been wanting to cut it really short.. any opinions?

I think short hair can be really cute, but not many people have long hair, keep it around midback length, cause then you can put it in an updo without it falling out for being too short or falling out for being too long. That's just my opinion, or you could pull a britney and get side bangs.

I really really like this guy I'll call Mark, but he's going out with a different girl who I'll call Ruth. Ruth was at her cottage, and she called her best friend, and Mark was at her best friend's house! This is not the first time Mark did this, he cheated on a previous girlfriend with Ruth. The only problem is, how do I tell Ruth? She doesn't know, because her best friend lied and said it was her little brother.

Don't tell her that you like him, that will ruin everything. Just tell her that you think that her friend might have a thing for Mark. Just tell her to keep a close eye on Mark and Ruth will find out soon enough. I hope this helps a little

My best guy friend wanted to kill himself. At least thats what he told me. He said it was because a girl didnt like him. He said that no one cared and that he had already tried before. It really worried me and I told him that I cared. As I was walking to the bus, it really hit me what he had said. When I got on the bus I realized that i liked him as more than a friend. The problem is, the next day he acted as if nothing happened. I'm not sure if he was telling the truth about wanting to kill himself. I'm only 13 but I have liked him for over 5 months. My question is ...........

No, there isn't a certain age, but when someone threatens like that the first thing you do is think about what life would be like without them. You might love him in one way that is not the same way you think, maybe you just got scared for his life and realized how much you care for him. Just make sure he knows.

Some guys really like shy girls. But if you want to be outgoing, don't hide anything, just be open and stuff, introduce yourself to people sitting next to you in class, just don't try to seem eager to be popular. Hope this helps

i dance alot (about 12 hours a week) .. does this have anything to do with my not having my period yet because of heavy exercise?? that's what my friend said and i want to know if it's true

no, it doesn't. If you want your period to start the only way to do it is make sure you eat enough food. If you dance a lot then you should eat a lot. But don't binge, (i dance every day for two hours and eat more than anyone. It doesn't make you fat!!!) just make sure you eat a lot of meat.

Try not to dye it nemore because that is not good for it. Try using DOVE because that gives it back it's silkiness, you could try using THERMASILK because that doesn't dry it out or SALON SELECTIVES which is just like a cheaper salon product. They are all under $4 but they should work, (i died my hair three times in one month so i know how you feel) Good Luck

My Mom doesn't like when i watch like MTV cuz she sez there is always junk on. like and she wants me to lead such a sheltered life. Like she thinks i don't know anything about like sex and drugs and stuff. i'm 12 wut should i do?

The only thing you can do is tell her to have a talk with you about sex and drugs, otherwise she'll think that no one has told you about it. If you tell her you already know, she'll think it was because of MTV and stuff. Tell her that you just watch it for the music and not the graphics. I hope this helped

I find myself uttering "I hate you Peter Smith" (my ex boyfriend who dated me 5 years and broke up...not his real name). Am I nuts? Do I have a version of Tourette's Syndrome? Because I will say and see these things when I am doing nothing in particular. Its not all the time, but it freaks me out.
I told my current beau not to wig when I say that, and that it happens. In fact, I am usually alone when these things happen. It doesn't bother me functionally, but it is unnerving.

it doesn't mean you have tourettes, usually thats born with people. You probably just need to talk to your ex and tell him that you desperately need an appology, maybe that'll help calm you down a little. Good Luck hun

Does anyone else have flashbacks about things they regretted doing or things other people did that unnerved you? I have never done LSD or anything like that. I know they aren't real. It doesn't keep me from doing things, but it makes me shrug sometimes in reaction to it.

flashbacks are really common for people who have experienced or regreted something lifechanging. The only way to make them go away is to confront the problems that you delt with in the past

just go to lots of auditions and stuff. a lot of people are noticed at the mall too, but auditions are better, just listen for them on the radio.

Depends on your age. If you are a teen, you don't want to diet or stop eating because your metabolism can't take it and then when you start eating again you gain a lot of weight, which isn't bad but is not confy. Just don't stop eathing

My boyfriend recently told me I was acting alot different and not being myself. I can see why he says that because I have been thinking about taking a break with him and I have SO much on my mind.
Tonight on the phone he kept saying he loved me and he never wanted to lose me AND our 8 month anniversary is this Saturday. Should I wait to call it off between us until after this Saturday or what?

Don't wait, because then you will feel worse and worse about it then feel normal about feeling bad and end up dating him for years. Just tell him how you feel. Yeah, he's gonna feel heartbroken, but it's either this or you will eventually marry a dude who you never even liked (maybe that's exaderating) but seriously, say something.

Just start talking about what happened in your day. Kinda lie though. Like if he said he saw Lord of the Rings say something like, "OMG i always wanted to see that movie, then a conversation will sort of burst out. After a while you will feel more confortable talking with him, i promise.
