MissJ1414 answered Thursday July 15 2004, 11:08 pm: Do some hot oil treatments and condition it evertime you wash it and try to dry and straiting and curl as little as possible. You'll see a difference then you can start doing the stuff you used to do to it. Alos your chemical treatmeants might have given you dead ends..go and get a slight hair cut. XxbabiixdanielLexX answered Tuesday July 13 2004, 9:06 pm: one thing-stop straightening n dying ur hair! if u do it too much itll ruin your hair (itll dry it out, give u split ends, etc.) So cut back on that and there are also some volumizing conditioners and gels and stuff that you can use- go to the store and look around-you might find something u like. ShOrTnSwEeT42094 answered Tuesday July 13 2004, 8:29 am: Well,it's always good to get a fresh start!!Go to your stylist and get your hair cut to a good length, where ALL of the dead ends,or as I call them,"dead weight",lol are cut off!!You're best t dye it to a color close to your natural color and then stay away from the dye for a while!!Try alternating days where you straighten it,and days where you let it air dry and curl. That's what I do!! I have naturally curly hair and I totally killed my hair so I can relate!!!But my hair is great now since I cut all the dead ends off and dyed it back to a color close to my natural color.Any shampoo and conditioner that say "revitalizing" or "renewing" are great!I love Pantene,Salon Selectives, and Suave.Make sure to moisturize your hair, that way it won't dry out! Also, stay away from the heat of the hair dryer and straightening irons for a while, and if you must use them get a good heat protector spray,I reccomend Pantene's,it works great!!Hope this helped some!! tommiegurlie23 answered Tuesday July 13 2004, 1:33 am: You should deep condition it at least once a week! Like take a shower at night and sleep with conditioner in ur hair! Honestly, it helps if u get like a salon brand too...(something from T.I.G.I, or bed head or something) there honestly is a difference! Of if you go to a professional salon, they have deep conditioning treatments they can do on ur hair! good luck! xoxo

sweetie4143 answered Monday July 12 2004, 3:18 pm: Well, if you're a brunette, use John Frieda's Brilliant Brunette. My hair got really really dry, and I used that and it gave my hair life again! It's shiny, silky, and completely beautiful. Or, I think think there is a shampoo for blondes by John Frieda. You might not see imediate results, but with in 2 weeks, your hair should be all better. Also, VO5 hot oil treatment helps. Or Thermasilk deep conditioning wrap! If you need more suggestions, let me know! :) [ sweetie4143's advice column | Ask sweetie4143 A Question ]

blackmamba answered Monday July 12 2004, 1:52 pm: definently get a trim. then get some reaallly good shampoo and conditioner ( neutrogena has triple moisture set now- thats a good idea) and once or twice a week use a deep conditioner. and dont dye or straighten it all the time. sometimes hair needs a break b/w styling to re-juvenate. pArIs_mArIe answered Monday July 12 2004, 1:12 pm: The first thing you need to do is get your ends trimmed off so your hair can begin to be healthy.. For hair products that arent way too expensive and your a blonde use John Freida's Sheer Blonde Shampoo*&*Conditioner($7-10), Brunette-John Freida's Brilliant Brunette Shampoo*&*Conditioner($7-10).. His shampoos rid the minerals that dull your hair..Another thing you can do is ask your stylist for good shampoos and hair care products that can help give your hair moisture and body.. When you use your straightner, its def gunna burn your hair.. if you have a power button say (5-25) maybe turn it down to 18, 15, or even 10.. Dye always kills the hair, all dye no matter what.. a good shampoo and conditioner will rejevuante your hair.. Blow drying your hair is gunna burn it a little too.. There are products that you can put on your hair when its damp before you dry it that wont burn it.. ask your stylist about those kind of products too i got mine from there (Vavoom Energizer)... Good Luck, hope i helped

Lizzy answered Monday July 12 2004, 12:33 pm: Try not to dye it nemore because that is not good for it. Try using DOVE because that gives it back it's silkiness, you could try using THERMASILK because that doesn't dry it out or SALON SELECTIVES which is just like a cheaper salon product. They are all under $4 but they should work, (i died my hair three times in one month so i know how you feel) Good Luck

xmissybootsx answered Monday July 12 2004, 12:22 pm: My first bet would be to get split ends trimmed off. Then look for a hydrating or moisturizing shampoo and conditioner. It's not going to fix it right away, but it does help. And you might want to stop dying and straightening it, because both of those fry your hair really bad.
