My dad pasted away from leukemia 4 months and 10 days ago (March 1st). Well right now, we're (my mom, brother, and I) in Ireland visiting family. We've been here for about 3 weeks. Well for then past 2 weeks my mom has been acting very different and forgetful. When she goes to do the dishes or something, when she's done, she'll come and sit down then get up and say that she needs to do the dishes. When she gets into the kitchen and sees that there are no dishes (because she already did them) she'll ask "Who did the dishes? I was about to do them!" It's so weird. She'll also repeats herself all the time and never wants to go out or do anything.
We're all so worried about her but we don't know what to do. My family members want us to get her to see a specialist here in Ireland but my brother and I want to cut our trip short and deal with it once we get back to the states. We don't know which is better.
At first we thought she's like this because of the loss of my dad but she's gone over 4 months without anything weird like this so why now? Any help?

I really don't know what to do to help you with this kind of problem I think your best bet is to go and see a specialist A.S.A.P and you can find out what is wring with ehr in stead of waiting. I do think tht maybe she has short term memory loss of she forgets she has done the dishes only 10 minutes after. But do not trust me on that statment. I would take her to a specialist. Don't worry about it nothing bad is going to happen to her you just need to be with her in this situation. Good Luck!!

My friend is doing drugs a lot. She smokes weed every day and does ecstacy a few times a week. I have talked to her about it a lot, and she's not going to change. I don't know if I should tell her mom or do something else. So what should I do? (link)

I think that drugs are really bad especially if someone you love is doing it. They are bad for you and can really hurt you. I think you should approach your friend by just talking to her and ttelling her what drugs can do to you. But at all costs if she asks you to do them do not say yes because then you will sink down to her level and there will be no one to tell you that you should stop. You just need to tell her that they are really bad for you and that they can kill her is she doees them alot and tht you do not want to lose a friend that is sch as good as her and because ou might if she does drugs alot. Maybe she will understand but if she doeesnt you still need to talk to her because she can not live her life like this. Good Luck!!

I bought some new clothes for school.I showed my friend while she was at my house.She said my clothes were ugly.She then proceeded to go to my closet.Needless to say,she got my into giving her some pants,a nice leather jacket,a hat,and some make-up.I don't know how she does it!She just begs me for it.So,when I ask to borrow her lipgloss,she says no.I give her all this stuff(unwillingly),and she won't even let me borrow her lipgloss.and,she insults me too.She says I have no style.I want to start out fresh next year.So:Should I dump her because of this,or still be her friend? Maybe you should talk to her about how you feel. It isn't right that she takes all of your stuff and then doesn't let you borrow some of your stuff. Maybe she is not aware that she is doing this stuff to you. But if she is doing it deliberatley then I think you should not be her friend anymore. She shouldn't make fun of you either because that is just very hurtful sometimes and she might be doing it as a joke but it could still hurt. Like I said before you should definately confront her about how you feel and if she like doesn't care then you should definately drop her as a friend and try to make some new ones. Maybe things will work out with you guys and I hope it does. Good luck with your friendship problems.

Okay I was with the guy for over a year. On and off. And this is our third try. I'm pretty sure he liked some other chick.. but couldn't get with her and then asked me out. I feel stupid and yeah.. I don't know what to do.. because he doesn't really call me. He talks to his other friends on the phone and puts me on hold. :\ And he doesn't really show or tell me that he likes me or that he's happy with me.. or anything like that. So i really don't know what's going on. It's just.. "BYE" and I feel like he likes the other girl...and not me anymore. I don't know what to do because I'm not really sure I'm right. (link)

I think you should confront him about it. Don't really like accuse him of anything but say something about it to him. If you still feel the way you do maybe he is just not the right guy for you. Good luck

Hey everybody! I'm 14/f. Well, I have a fear of dogs. It's just that when they get close to me I'm so afraid and start to take off. Once when I was a young kid, my next-door neighbor's dog Kiki was chasing after me and I literally thought that it was going to kill me. I don't want to be afraid of dogs because I think they are the cutest things ever, especially puppies. My cousin is 8 and she is petrified of dogs. I keep telling her that they are trying to intentionally trying to hurt you they are just playing. What you need to do is instead of running away you need to try and pet it and talk to it, but of course start litte and work to big. Good Luck!!

I'm 13 years old and I'm about 5'4. I once heard that if you're 5 feet tall, your supossed to weigh 100 pounds, and for every inch after that, it's another 5 pounds. Well, that would mean that I'm suposed to weigh about 120 pounds, but i only weigh 95. Does this mean I'm 25 pounds UNDERweight? It seems that if I gained 25 pounds, I'd be looking near obese. I don't feel or look underweight. Am I? (link)

There is nothing wrong with you. I am also underweight and there is nothing wrong with me. If you are really upset about this maybe you could talk to your mom about taking you to the doctor. And other people might be jealous of you because you are underweight. Don't be so worried. Best of luck.

I think that if you think being an exchange student is something that you want to do then you should be it but as for asking me for the information I have no idea about stuff like that. One suggestion is to contact someone in whom is in charge of foreign exchane agencies. Good Luck!!

i was raped when i was younger and i don't know what to do anymore it haunts me in my sleep. To graduate high school I had to take a theater class but I wasn't really into that stuff so instead of doing my assignments, my teacher let me do other things for grades (stay after and clean the stage, stuff like that). alright, i got my nose pierced in march, for the
second time, the first time i took it out too soon
and it closed up. anyways, ive had it in for about
5 months, i had a fake nosering in, the one they
pierced me with in the first place, but im really
sensitive and cant have anything fake in my nose,
so i put in this solid white gold ring and it was
doing completely fine, for 5 months. then recently,
within the past week theres been this bump outside
my nose, i woke up this morning and it was HUGE.
so i took out the ring and put some cleaning stuff
on it, and now its all puss filled, i know it sounds
gross but if you have alot of piercings youd be used
to hearing this kind of stuff, anywayss.
tomorrow my mom is taking me to get it lanced?
is there anything i can do in the meantime to help

I think your best bet is to have it close again and then do your standard procedure once more, I DON'T think you should put the ring back in your nose. I do think that you should let it out and then have it close and then try it again.
