Chances of getting pregnant Hi,
Me and my wife are tryin for a baby for more than a year , but have failed so far. My question here is that when ever we have sex my wife wipes off the sperm straight away. will that affect, I mean does that reduces the chances of getting pregnant? does it affect in any way?thanks

sperm is what inpregnantes a woman. if she wipes it away, duh, shes going to affect her pregnancy issues ]
Dear Chances of Getting Pregnant,
Yes it does reduce the chance of her not having a baby because she needs part of the sperm and if she wipes it off you can't have a baby. Good Luck!!

No, wiping the semen/sperm away will not affect chances of getting pregnant.
You are not asking advice on how to help get your wife pregnant, but a good thing to try before going to the Dr would be to have your wife take her temperature every morning for three cycles to determine when her fertile time is. Of course you would need to engage in intercourse during that time. She will need to commit to taking her temp before getting out of bed, and placing the results on a chart. If the temperature peaks, that indicates ovulation. Oh, and use a basal thermometer because it's more accurate at lower body temps, and the temp is usually lower after sleep.

storknet.com also has advice on how to do this. ]
When I was trying to conceive my third child I laid in bed with my feet raised above my head to help the sperm along. Normally wiping it away does not make that much difference because you only need one or two very active sperm to fertilise an egg.
It might be a good idea to make an appointment for the both of you to be checked out. I wish you both the very best of luck. ]
I am kinda thinking it does. My aunt and my uncle were trying to have a baby, and she let it sit in there. So, i am assuming youre supposed to and i am also assuming it does have something to do with affecting it.
But, did you both look into a pill or something? You can go to the doctors and they will give you a pill to help, or even clean out your wife(i know my mom has had that done)
and also, check to see if you both are able to have a kid. :)
Good luck! ]
