x_woah_me answered Sunday July 9 2006, 5:52 pm: Yes you can, and it's a REALLY good idea. The condom helps with protecting from STD's & pregnency & the brith control helps protect you from the pregnency also. It's a good idea :]

Meghan09 answered Sunday July 9 2006, 5:46 pm: Yea actually it would be best if you did, that way you could prevent STD's. Plus birth control is only 92 to 99% effective. Condoms aren't 100% percent effective either, on preventing STD's or un planned pregnancies. So If you want a better chance of preventing STD's, unplanned pregnancies, etc. I would reccomend both!! It isn't a dumb question it is actually a very good one. Hope I answered your question. [ Meghan09's advice column | Ask Meghan09 A Question ]
spacefem answered Sunday July 9 2006, 8:31 am: You should always use condoms. Birth control pills don't do anything to prevent you from getting STDs, and AIDs is still around.
Vikki27 answered Sunday July 9 2006, 7:36 am: You can and it's actually a strongly recommended method of contraception. In Holland, it's known as 'going Double Dutch'. Condoms are between 92% and 95% effective and protect against pregnancy, STI's, STD's etc but if they break, they do nothing. However, the Pill is around 99.9% effective when taken correctly but doesn't protect against STI's or STD's. If you use both at once, you're as well protected as you can get.
