Q: Well, I've been best friends with this girl Stacy for 2 years. We do pretty much everything together and I'm always going over her house and stuff. But lately, it feels like we're always competing, at least I feel that way. Whenever we go somewhere together I'm always trying to look better than her. And she just got a ton of new clothes for school from like hollister and abercrombie and I didn't get as much as her. I get really jealous, and I don't know why. We've always been best friends, but why do I feel this way?

It's totallt normal to feel this way. Just try not to put so much thought into trying to be better then her. Think of things that you are better at then her or that you have and she doesn't. She may be jealous of you. You never know. You can't change who you are. So I would try to stop concentrating on being better then her and focus on being yourself.

Q: well I have this friend that i've been best friends with since she moved here. Me and her have been through thick n thin because she got mixed into the wrong crowd and left me to do drugs and stuff. She finally got caught and we are best friends again but her mom has her on like lock down. Well yesterday was my friends suprise party and she went and it was her first time hanging out with someone besides me in pretty much 4 months! And she totally was acting like the center of attention and kept like pushing me out of me way when i tried to talk to MY FRIENDS. im not jealous of what she was doing just annoyed. what can i do?

Talk to her about it. That you have helped her and it hurt you when she was shoving you out of the way. I mean, she might not know how to act since she hasn't seen those people in so long. But basically, I would talk to her about and tell her your true feelings. Remember to be honest and don't let her put you down for speaking up.

Q: ok, well i'm 13 and i like this guy a lot.
and i think he likes me too, which i guess is a plus. but there's a couple of problems.
before i go any farther, let me say that we're not dating.

problem number 1)i'm pretty shy.
2)we talk all the time on the computer and through text messaging, but we hardly ever talk in person. the last time we did talk in person was in early august :\
3)when i try to talk to him person adn what not, we don't talk much. it's basically one word answers.
4)i'm starting to like another guy 2 years older than me, even though i know i have no chance. BUT i still like both of them.

i don't know what to do. i need some real help.

I would go with the guy your age cause 15 year olds can hurt you more. they have more experience.. anyways. find out something the guy you like is interested in and talk to him ab that. for ex: if he likes soccer. ask him questions like : when is your next game? do you like your team? what position do you play? who do you play for? who is your coach? when do you practice?
there are hundreds of questions. just try not to ask yes or no questions cause then it will just be one answer. good luck!

keep flirting with him and show him what he's missing out on. he might break up with his current gf then. if not, just tell him your real feelings. he might feel the same exact way. so i would say keep flirting and if he doesn't break up with his gf then tell him how you feel! good luck!

Q: Alright, so there is this guy in my spanish class that i've had a crush on since like 6th grade. i know this sounds stupid, but i don't really talk to him that much. However, this year he sits diagonally from me. How do i get him to notice me, and how do i start talking to him, i guess to like become friends. you can drop your pencil and ask him to pick it up. that will break the ice a bit. then, just casually start talking to him. like, are you ready for the spanish test on friday? or, do you understand what our teacher is talking about. also, you can ask the guy you sit next to a question and then ask your crush what he thinks. something like that. just start off talking casually.

Q: ok they say a every other day washing would make your hair healthier but i have to wash my hair everyday because it is curly...i have also heard putting mayonaise in it once a week would help it but that is gross...do you have any ungross advice for me to grow my hair?

eat proteins. and cut your hair when you get dead ends and split ends... i heard once a month is good.

well i know this guy (jake) and he was my first kiss and my first friend in the nieghborhood but later on we got in a fight for 4 months but then he apologized to me. so we started hanging out again and one thing lead to another and we had sex (no. he didn't take my virginity. i felt bad for a while because he has a girlfrind in another state he's had for over a year. then after that, summer started and i wasn't home for most of it so we never saw eachother. then when school started we started hanging out again. we haven't really talked about it bt he's told me he's been thinking about us. i didn't really say anything because for a while i really like him but i've moved on and the incident was just a memory now. he's a great guy but i'm not sure how i should feel around him. i mean when i'm by him i feel protected andi care for him alot but does he feel the same. i mean he was there when my heart was shattered by the guy who took my virginity. (he pounded on him like crazy) he was the shoulder i cried on but he still has a girlfriend & i'm starting to feel like a side girl. but then i think to myself if i was just another girl why would he have stood up for me, why would he have been there for me and not just somewhere else? i'm not sure on where to be in this mess. am i suppose to care or do i forget? is he the real thing or just a fling after a year? help please!!

I think you guys should be really good friends. I think you feel like he is a really good friend to you. So explain that to him. Tell him that you don't regret having sex with him but you think you guys would be better as just friends. Tell him you are always there for him like how he was there for you in the past. And hopefully he will be there for you in the future. Tell him how you feel comfortable around him and your freindship means alot to you. He will understand.

Q: When my boyfriend fingers me, I like love it and believe me, he enjoys doing it. But sometimes he goes really like... "far up"... and it hurts. So I like want him to stop, but then I don't.

Is there a way to prevent that, or do I have to just tell him to slow down?

Plus, if he's fingering me and that hurts I can't imagine what sex must feel like, which we are planning on doing.
I'm of age, I'm in love, and we've been together for a long time, so there's no advice needed about those issues.

Just tell him to slow down. It will be worth it in the end. I am sure he won't mind if you guys are in love. And yeah sex does hurt for the first time but then you get used to it, so if you keep getting fingered "far up" you will get used to it too.

Q: I am very shy around guys that I like, especially older guys. My face gets all red and I get quiet. I am a sophomore and my friend wants to introduce me to her friend, who is a senior. be yourself and don't think too much. don't stress over this though, flirting is supposed to be fun! ask him questions about himself- it will show you are interested and not self absorbed. just relax and take deep breaths before you meet him. have fun and good luck!

Q: 14/f sorry in advance for this being soo long!

today i went to a ropes course for incoming freshmen to the highschool.i got really close to the people in my group and made new friends. i met this kid..lets call him nick.ive known nick since elementary school..but we never really became good friends..but we knew who each other was.today he was in my group and we spent alot of time together.i had one of my really good guy friends in my group too..his name is alex. me and alex were hanging out andd we were probably the craziest kids in the group.haha :] nick is kinda shy but about half way through the day he became more outgoing and talked to us..most of the day it was me,alex,nick and this kid vince hanging out.

me and nick ended up partnering with each other for a couple of the activities.we were getting along really well and were kind of flirting. we kept looking back at each other and smiling or standing near each other most of the time.

by the end of the day i really started to like nick..and i think he was interested in me too. i hope he was.=] but idk what would happen if we classes together in high school.my friend terri likes nick too but shes saying she doesnt so she can get over him..because he doesnt ever text her back or talk to her..and my friend alexa used to like him too but she says she doesnt anymore..but i think she still does.but she wont admit it because terri likes him too. i dont want to tell terri i might like nick because terri has liked nick for so long..like ever since elementary schoool.yeah 7 years.

If both your friends say they don't like Nick, then go with it! Even if you think they do like him, they say they don't. You can't help who you like. So tell them when you thikn the time it right that you do. And if they get mad, say "You both said you don't like him. I can't control that I do." They need to except that. If they were in your shoes, they would understand.

Q: It's getting closer and closer to the beginning of school. I want to get a haircut before I go back. Since I'm no longer dyeing my hair black, I wanted to do something different, like a hair cut. I'm planning on getting layers so that I can blow dry it to look like that really big 80's hair.

I'm honestly a bit nervous right now, because I'm afraid the hair dresser will not cut my hair right, or it will look bad. I've actually never had my hair professionally cut, my whole life, my mom has just trimmed it.

Am I overreacting about getting my hair cut? Should I take this chance getting it cut? If I do get a bad haircut, what are some styles where you can't really see the bad hair cut?

No, I am the EXACT same way. I get so scared they are going to make it look bad. Here is a tip, look in a magazine or online for a picture of a hairstyle you want. Print it out and show them. That way they know exactly how you want it. If it turns out awful, try wearing it in a ponytail or half up half down. It will grow out so it doesn't look that bad. Remember that you are in control so if they ask you if you want long or short layers tell them what you want!

Well you can try talking to them about it and just telling them how you feel. Or, you can start to hang out with a different friend. That way your mind won't be on your cousin and Heather. Do you know why they don't include you? Sometimes I know I just need a break from my friends. But I would talk to them about it and if it doesn't work, then start to hang out with someone else. Well you guys seem like you did catch up a bit. I would still go with it. I mean if you like him and all. I would keep hooking up and if you want more then a friends with benefits relationship then ask him if you guys are going to ever go out. I can't really tell if it is just a summer thing though. Guys are so complicated and you can almost never read them. If he starts to ignore you when school starts.. then it was just a summer thing. If you guys keep hooking up then it it's not. Good luck!

Q: Heres the deal, I'm 18 and I've never been on a date or kissed a boy. (I know, wow, Never?!?! At 18?!?!) I'm going to be going on my first date soon. I feel so awkward about the fact that I've never dated before, especially since he has. I wouldn't worry about this being your first date. He has hone through it already so most likely he is going to take the lead. He did ask you out after all so he is going to be interested in you. He will prob. ask you questions about yourself and just answer them honestly and be yourself. For example if he is like: "So are you still playing soccer?" Answer him then say "How is football going for you?" You know something like that. Sports are always really easy to talk about with guys- that is if he plays. But you can talk about music, movies, or tv shows. There has to be something you guys have in common. Just act casual and be yourself. He is already interested in you so now you just have to keep him interested. Act flirty and who knows by the end of the night, you may get your first kiss! Don't stress about it though- just have fun!

before I begin, kissing is fun. all you have to do is get the first time over with and after that everything is up hill. if you don't want to kiss him then don't. wait until you are ready. when you think you are, go for it. don't worry if you are bad or not. when you do start kissing him all of your problems go away. so just have fun.
if he starts not to like you because you won't kiss him,then forget him. there are other guys out there will accept it if you want to kiss them or not.
remember the first cardinal rule in kissing is to have fun!

click on the place where you type in your serach and previous searches will come up. then highlight the first noe and hold down delete... they should delete then.
ctrl H deletes all history on your internet explorer.

Well first off, only french kiss him if you are comfortable. If you aren't just say you guys are moving too fast and if he gets mad he's not respecting you.
If you want to go for it. I must say it is alot of fun. Remember that a good kiss should have a beginning, middle, and end. Start kissing him and he will most likely poke his tongue into your mouth. Then just start moving your tongue in his mouth let him tongue go in your mouth let him suck on your tongue and you do the same. Honestly, once you start you forget about what you are doing and you just have fun because having fun is the best thiing to do.
