I have been actively participating online whether giving advice, writing, reading, drawing, singing, and etc. So far, I've gained so much knowledge from using the net. My interests ranges from playing online games (reversi, checkers, pool, and more).Currently, I'm a full time college student. Hopefully, I finish my schooling...

advice
wenesday i have my spanish exam.
right now im doing horrible in that class and praying this exam helps me out.
i need more ways to help me get all these words into my head.
i made flashcards and i study them and theres ones i dont have any idea.
i Have extreme short term memory loss. so nothing sticks to my memory over maybe 30 min. I need something i can study for tomorrow then cram a little 30 min before the exam so some sticks.
sorry its confusing.

Don't get overwhelmed in this type of situation. You can still pass this. What you can do is break it down into smaller steps and prioritize. I surfed the internet for some tips here you go.

Okay, I'm one of those people who hates homework questions, but for some reason I'm in honors english 2 this year, I don't know how I made it, but I did.
Anyway, we have a definition paper, and I have to have the intro paragraph done by Monday. Well I've asked around, and have an okay idea of what a thesis statement is, but I'm still confused on how to come up with one. It's a definition paper, and though I would rather just get help on writing it, as in, I'm not asking for answers, just help on making one. My word is hate, because we had to pick a word to describe the holocaust.
But really what I'm asking is how can I come up with a thesis statement for that. I'm not saying "do my homework" feel free, I don't care, but if you come up with the thesis statement for me, at least tell me how you got it. Please, my teacher doesn't have internet at home so I can't e-mail her. I will love you forever, and I always always always rate!

ok i need some help NOW! 5s 5s 5s! OK NO LISTEN! im really lazy and i blame myself for that. but now down to bisness! what do i do when i have an F in math class and my teacher is going to call any minute to tell your parents! and you told your parents that you already turned in all of your late work! so what should i do! fast! please!
Look at your situation this way.... (accept responsibility for your actions and correcting them, or find ways in order not to get in trouble). However, more than likely it's not a winning situation here.
Your better off telling your parents the whole situation before the whole thing gets messy or complicated.
Moreover, talk to your parents that you needed extra help with your studies. You just need to see your options in order to succeed in school.
Being yelled/scolded couldn't be that bad because I've been there. Last piece of advice for you..... Set your priorities straight just do what is important or better yet just budget your time so that you can do the things you wanted aside from studying.

I am taking Geometry this year! today was my frist day, and my Geo. teacher has different teaching styles, and I am finding it very difficult to learn. He is really into using logic, and I am totally a streat smart person.

Furthermore, consider having a tutor, either online or offline. If not, just read your notes after classes. Try to develop a an interest in the subject becaues it will make it easier on your part and always try your hardest in studying and getting the grades.
Lastly, if you don't understand what the professor is discussing in class dont' be afraid to ask.

okay theres a girl in my class whos really anoying i hate her and i know this is imature but wishs she would die. she likes me and im afraid that shes going to ask me to dance with her. I've been in your situation before dealing with someone that I can't stand. One thing I've learned in class today though, learn where she is coming from that way you can understand why she acts the way she always do. Be more tolerant and don't let her get in your nerves.
If these still don't work do this....... Find a time where she is in a serious mood or good mood then talk to her. Don't talk directly that she is annoying and all because that might not work. Try talking positively and let your point be heard and I'm sure in time you will get what you want. If still she doesn't change then go to drastic measures... And by the way, let go of your fears anything to do with her. And don't focus much about her asking to dance with you. If in case she asks you to dance with her just say I'm sorry I don't know how to dance or your a bad dancer better yet before she approaches you ask some other girl to dance with.

I have to give an oral presentation in fron otthe whole class, but I suck at public speaking. I start getting really red and then i start to shake and I stumble over words. Right now I am absolutly terrified at the thought of giving a speech. What can I do to overcome this fear?

I remember the first time I gave my oral presentation in class. It wasn't easy but you know there are ways to overcome this....
*Have visuals-from pictures, diagrams, PowerPoint. Most of my classmates did the Powerpoint presentation. While talking in front of class they did point and discuss about what their research.
*Practice in the mirror while giving a presentation or in front of your friends the more people the better.
*Whenever talking speak slow and take your time. Other students are there in class to listen to what you say not to point out mistakes.
*Before you start the presentation ask for like 2 minutes--inhale and exhale.
*Last but not least, you could always have a flash cards with you to help you whenever you get stuck on something.

hi i'm a 13/f and im in the 7th grade. and we got our 4 and a half week progress reports today and i got a 67 in science. the teacher only took a few grades and mine jumped from a B to an F. i usually get all A's and B's and very few C's. i don't know how to tell my parents because they have really high expectations of me! Help!?
I know how it feels being in your situation. I've been there. This semester I got nothing but D's. Man I'm just depressed lost and no hope.
You know it's okay because you will be back on track again. Just have faith in yourself and never be afraid to ask for help in order to get better grades.
As for your parents, tell them the reasons or better yet let them umderstand that you've been studying and trying your best and that your teacher is impossbile and giving other students a hard time.

Hi guys,
I am NEVER motivated to do my homework...if it is a big essay then I will plan and plan, but that's actually a bad thing because planning makes me feel like I've achieved more than I actually have. I end up rushing all my work the night before it's due. I'm alright once I've started doing it but I can never get round it!!
I've tried getting everything else I want/need to do out of the way first, but even when I do that I still just dawdle around hoping someone will sign into MSN or something. I've tried loads of things and nothing works. Anyone have any tips on how to get myself motivated and do my work on time?

I know what it's like being in your situation. The good news is we can do something about it.
Try these:
a) Set your priorities. Make it specific as possible. And keep in mind why you are doing them so that your in track.
b) Get organized. There are planners that you can get for a dollar in the 99cents store/s.
c) If you need help on your studies, have a study buddy. Other than that you can choose to study with your friend online. Make sure you both really stick to the plan of studying.
d) Study in a place free from distractions. Best place is the library if not bookstore.
e) Set aside a time to study for example 60 minutes but have study breaks.
f) When you accomplish a task do reward yourself. For example, watching your favorite movie, eat your favorite food, or whatever you can think of.
g) Last but not least, write down the tasks you need to do... Sticky notes will help but if you prefer online it's much better.

I love to draw but the only problem is that I never know what to draw.I need some ideas on what I can draw!And if you name something that is very colorful and takes a while to color than I will rate you a perfect five!!!

There are many ways you can do this. Dollar stores have coloring books that you could copy. You can decide which colors you would want to use.
If you wouldn't want to do that, try to go to e-card sites. They have so many drawings that you could do.
Another thing, drawing is not limited to charcoal or sketches. To be honest, it's really way big of a subject. I think the easiest one you can do is Abstract drawing. It doesn't have to look like a real image. It could be anything, from symbols to colors, or whatever you prefer.
What might help is for you to search online about drawing to get a sense of what you would like to stick to when it comes to drawing.

First of all, learn to be interested in the subject. Second, do whatever you can to really study actively not passively.
There are sites online that let's you study effectively. I myself have a class this semester that the professor's teaching way too different for me. The key ingredient to making the grade is to think the words, "IT'S EASY". Aside from that the interest...
Learn to figure out the professor's teaching style. If for example, the professor just like's to lecture without writing anything on the board then just jot down what he lectures in your notes. I'm sure you can learn one or two things about what comes out in the test basing from how he teaches.
Lastly, there are homework helpers online that you could use for free.
*tips for finding info from search engines:*
a) Google is a good website to start with. Type in (study habits, how to study, ways to study, or how to get good grades in school) there are just so many to look for online.
b) Askjeeves is another website you can try. Type (homework help, free online tutoring, homework helper, tutors).

It's highly impossible that you have a disorder. You just need to get out more and hang out with friends. I was once in your situation feeling nervous and all. But you know it takes practice in feeling right when around people.
Go the mall often you don't have to buy anything. And most of all be yourself. You really shouldn't put much pressure on yourself for people to like you. What's important is what you think of yourself.
