hi i'm a 13/f and im in the 7th grade. and we got our 4 and a half week progress reports today and i got a 67 in science. the teacher only took a few grades and mine jumped from a B to an F. i usually get all A's and B's and very few C's. i don't know how to tell my parents because they have really high expectations of me! Help!?
You know it's okay because you will be back on track again. Just have faith in yourself and never be afraid to ask for help in order to get better grades.
As for your parents, tell them the reasons or better yet let them umderstand that you've been studying and trying your best and that your teacher is impossbile and giving other students a hard time.

orphans answered Monday April 25 2005, 7:24 pm: dear bad grade,
the best thing to do is tell the truth and go and tell yor parents. tell them why you think you got the grades you got. maybe they will understand and cut you some slack but if you keep it from them, they will eventually find out + they have to sign it so just be straight. surferlil2002 answered Monday April 25 2005, 6:34 pm: you just gotta tell them... they will be upset, but remember, they love you and only want what is truely best for you, even if it seems like they only want what is best for them. also, you can talk to them about them helping you study and stuff like that... it always seems to make my parents lighten up a bit... They should understand and tell them that you will do better next time. Good Luck and let me know how it goes.
TheTeenGirl answered Monday April 25 2005, 5:59 pm: Has this part of the years work been hard? Has something happened that was stressful to you? Theres some explaination with this, you need to try finding it, have you spent too much time with your friends? Think about what could of happened, if you can't seem to remember, then you'll have to tell them you're sorry and you will raise that F, but I doubt your parents will let you right off the hook, because if you come up with no reason why, then they are probably going to blame it on your friends or boys. So think about this.

Show them, I'm sure they will understand, especially if you were trying your best, because you were putting your best effort into it. therocketsummer answered Monday April 25 2005, 5:53 pm: It's only a progress report. At our school I know that progress reports are not report cards. They jsut show you where you are at and how you can improve. If that's the way your school is too tell them you PROMISE to raise it by report card time.
If your school isn't like that, still, promise them that you will get them up next time around. You can't just promise and not fulfull it so when you promise to them, you must get your grades up. Yes, they're going to be mad because they know that you aren't doing as well as you can. Just try hard to raise your grades and keep them up!
