pasoapaso.com is a good site if you have the book pasoapaso. even if you dont, its all basically the same. Click the chapter, then you can do internet activities, print up a vocab list or even take self-quizes. Hope this helped. Im 14 and in spainish II so i know this website works. GOOD LUCK!!! !-) ]
Don't get overwhelmed in this type of situation. You can still pass this. What you can do is break it down into smaller steps and prioritize. I surfed the internet for some tips here you go.

(you can choose which ever works for you or just follow all of them).
As far as learning spanish words, I came upon this.

(in the site has many things to learn from vocabulary to grammar and etc.)
Another thing, learn spanish online for free.

I am in spanish 1 also! Look spanish is pretty easy most of the words are cognats (they sound like english words). Review all of the material and make up something stupid for it like galleta for cookie, gulutonous. ]
Mnemonic devices are great for studying. Here is a list of them:

The best way to memorize things is not to just simply go over and over it, but to make it meaningful to yourself. This is called elaboration rehearsal. Think about the information you are studying what it means to you. Link it things you already have stored in your memory. Simple rote repetition of facts isn't going to ensure you remember it later, but if you make it meaningful to you you'll be more likely to remember it. For example.. say you need to remember the spanish word for "dog" If you have a dog, associate the word with the name of your dog. Or think about an bad experience you had with a dog and associate the word with that. That's a bad example, but just wanted to show you what I meant. :)
I did psych last year which is why I know a lot about this stuff. These helped me out for exams so hopefully they'll help you out too. Good luck on your test. ]
Ok, being able to study for a test is probably the hardest thing to master. But once you know your learning style, you got it down for EVERY test basically.
You made flashcards, that's good. The process of actually making them helps a lot too. For some people (myself included) writing down the things i need to learn help me because then i remember the act of writing them and have the words to now look at.
Other people are more audible. so grab a friend or family member, sit them down, and have them quiz you, or you simply explain the words out loud to them. then you'll remember everything you said out loud on the test the next day.
The ones you have no idea about, attach them to another idea. Like if a word relates in anyway to something you're interested in, make that connection. Then remember "oh yeah, that word involves yadda yadda yadda".
I wish you good luck on your spanish test. And don't stress out too much, because that only causes you to freeze. ]
