Ok me and my boyfriend just had sex 2 weeks ago and I don't get my period till next week. We didn't use protection and he cummed inside of me. When he told me he did I ran to the bathroom and tried to clean it out because I got scared. Can I end up pregnant? Please help me because I am really scared!

The female body is only succeptible to becoming pregnant during ovulation. Every women ovulates during a certain time each month. Some women ovulate on their periods! There are ovulation tests that you can take so you can find out when you do ovulate to ensure that you do not have unprotected sex during this time!
Some more information you might find interesting, is although there are millions (yes millions!) of sperm that enter your body when he cums, almost 75% of them do not survive after 20 seconds. Your body has plenty of natural defenses to kill sperm. Your body actually FIGHTS the sperm because it sees it as foreign and dangerous material and seeks it out and destroys it, as if it is a disease.
If you were not ovulating during this time you will not get pregnant. So do not worry. Also, if you happen to miss you period, do NOT freak out. There are plenty of reasons why you can miss your period. STRESS can make you miss your period. Bad diet, age, etc. are factors that can make your period late.
If you are worried you can take a pregnancy test now to see if you are. Conception occurs within the first 24 to 48 hours after sex, so if this occured two to three weeks ago, a good pregnancy test, like First Response, can calculate your HCG levels (the pregnancy hormone), even if they are still very low at this stage. Just make sure to take the test in the morning when you first wake up that way your urine will have the highest concentration.
So relax! If you have any more questions message me :)
SarcasticGreetings answered Friday April 30 2010, 5:44 pm: It's very likely that you're pregnant. Whenever you have unprotected sex, there's a big risk. If he cums inside you, it becomes even MORE likely.
Trying to clean it out did you no good. There's just no way to ensure that you cleaned out EVERY SINGLE cell.
Honestly, if you had unprotected sex and are NOT ready for a kid right now, you should not have waited two whole weeks to panic. You should have immediately gone to the store and picked up the morning after pill.
xokristabelle answered Friday April 30 2010, 11:32 am: Yes, there is a very big chance that you are pregnant. Cum has millions of sperm cells in it, and it only takes one to get you pregnant. Please learn your lesson from this and don't have sex unprotected again- use condoms, get on birth control, or both. If the condom breaks or you miss a pill, get the morning after pill, although it's too late for that now. The only thing you can do is wait, you can't take a pregnancy test until you miss your period. In the mean time, I know it sounds impossible, but try not to stress about it, because stress can delay your period. [ xokristabelle's advice column | Ask xokristabelle A Question ]
christina answered Friday April 30 2010, 7:51 am: You can definitely end up pregnant. Each time you have unprotected sex (no condoms, no birth control pills), you run the risk of getting yourself pregnant, or getting a disease.
If you want to lessen those odds (because they're really high), then you might want to consider using a condom or a birth control pill. Pulling out doesn't work either. There is such a thing as pre-cum and it does contain sperm so please do not think that pulling out will help your case. It won't.
I suggest you stay calm, and wait for your period to come. If it's late, or doesn't come, take a pregnancy test. If it comes out positive & you want a second opinion, go to the doctors. If that makes you uncomfortable, you can go to Planned Parenthood. They will let you know for sure if you are pregnant or not, and they will help you if you are.
If you happen to get lucky and you don't get pregnant, use a condom from now on so that pregnancy scares don't happen. If your boyfriend doesn't want to use a condom, tell him that's too damn bad & to use one anyway. If he still refuses, he obviously doesn't respect you enough as a person, and therefore he does not deserve you. [ christina's advice column | Ask christina A Question ]
nikkinpink answered Friday April 30 2010, 1:36 am: Everytime you have unprotected sex you run the risk of becoming pregnant, and although you tried to clean it out there's not really any way to get rid of it all. So yes, there is a possiblity that you could be pregnant but it'd be too soon to tell still. I say wait until the week of your period and if you don't get it within a week from the time you should then take a test. Until then there's nothing that you can do so there's no point on beating yourself up about it or stressing too much. It seems to me that you don't want to be pregnant so I hope that everything works out for the best for you, I know that feeling myself. All I can say is maybe take it as a lesson and remember protection next time ;) good luck. [ nikkinpink's advice column | Ask nikkinpink A Question ]
