I found his porn and i have been looking at my dads porn. i think it is so gross that he watches porn when he is soooo old why is that? why is it ok for me but not for him?

It actually isn't creepy that he watches porn. The only people that i see don't are the obvious. Devoted people of God, people against it... But he is an adult, with his own responsibilities and shit like that. Don't confront him if you haven't already. It isn't worth it. If you watch it, then fine. He watches it. He knows that. You don't have to point it out. He knows, you know, keep it at that. 35 isn't old. Sure, no one wants to think sexually about their parents, but it is the truth. I was quite surprised when i dropped something off my parents bed and found a dildo underneath the bed. It was a bit disturbing to think about, but it's fact. And other people that say we should not watch porn (I am 14) then you are wrong. All it does is put more vivid images in our head to masturbate to. After puberty, unless you're catholic or some shit, then you will start experimenting. You find things out and when you do, shit happens. Its not a matter of age with mature content, its a matter of maturity, and you dkn't know us. Except for your kids... We have our own beliefs apart from you, and you are going to have to accept that. We will do what we want whether you give us consent or not, because what if you died? Do you think we will give a flying fuck? Nope. So now that i have that covered, basically in a nutshell, it isn't weird at all so don't say anything.

Um your dad isnt old at all.. Porn is for everyone NOT just teenagers..If you really think that old people dont watch porn then your obviously clueless about the world because ofcourse they do. Sorry that you had to see your dad's porn but your old enough to understand what it is and why people watch it.

This viewpoint is kinda sad, you know, your father has had to or is going to have to learn to accept that his little girl, his special little whoever you are, is going to have sex someday.
The least you could do in return is recognize that your father is a human being just like you, and that you don't stop being horny when you have your first kid.
Don't invade his privacy, he watches porn because he's horny, men pretty much never lose sex drive. 15, 25, 45, 75, we're all still getting laid or wanting to. And 35 really isn't "old".

It is certainly okay for your father to watch porn. Humans have certain needs and when they can't be fulfilled by another human, that's where porn comes in. He can do whatever he wants. He is an adult, and he doesn't need your permission to watch pornography. It's also none of your business that he has it. He's only human.
If you dislike it, that's too bad. You can't tell him what to do, but you can surely tell him that you found it & would appreciate it if he didn't leave it lying around for you to see. You need to get over it though. And stop watching it. You're too young to watch porn. And by the way, 35 isn't old.

I know how strange it is for you to have come across your dad's porn, but it is his right to watch it, and as long as he isn't absolutely addicted to it, there's nothing wrong with it. And I know he's your dad, but he really isn't old at all- actually quite young, especially since there isn't a big age difference between the two of you. Regardless, he has a right to watch porn in his free time, and as difficult as it might seem, you're going to have to let it be. Forget about it- and don't look through it- it's really a privacy issue as well. It certainly is not alright for you to watch his porn. Think of how upset you would be if your dad found your porn and watched it behind your back (and as the columnist below mentioned, you do have to be 18+ to legally access porn). And to add, it is perfectly fine for him to watch porn- he is an adult, and he is fully capable of making his own decisions, including watching porn. So, bottom line, leave it to him- don't question it, and accept the fact that he is a grown man, and grown men sometimes enjoy "grown up" things.
