whoaxbabe answered Sunday December 30 2007, 12:03 am: You can get treatments at some salons. They can treat your hair with really good products. They'll also recommend good shampoo/conditioner for your hair type. Also try getting a ceramic straightener if you don't have one already. [ whoaxbabe's advice column | Ask whoaxbabe A Question ]
Also for shampoos and conditioners, you need to look into TIGI/Bed head/Catwalk. They have conditioners designed for blondes, brunettes, leave in conditioners, ones with mega vitamins, etc. Shampoos are for volume, control and color. Also, look into the defrizz and smooth products.
You really need to stop with the heating and damage to your hair. Always use a heat protector for straightening. Try to blowdry hair on damp hair only. Highlights are okay, you just need to use a shampoo for "dyed hair" i suppose. I wouldn't leave product in your hair for more than two days.
For now just put your hair up so you can let it rest. If you attempt to cover up the poofs.. it's not going to look good. I've tried so much in my middle school years. If you're getting frizzy and poofy hair, it's time to get your hair thinned out and possibly a trim. It makes a huge difference. [ queenhearts's advice column | Ask queenhearts A Question ]
MzJENNiFER answered Saturday December 29 2007, 1:49 pm: This has happened to me so many times. What I do is condition my hair. I don't rinse it right away. I wait maybe 5 minutes while dipping my hair in warm water.
I recommend that you stop using all your products and stop straightening. Since its vacation, just put your hair up in the simplest way.

Lorrena answered Saturday December 29 2007, 1:29 pm: Hi what i suggest you do is go to a salon and tell them about your problem and they should recommend a shampoo and conditioner for your hair, as your hair seems badly damaged. Also start using the shampoo they give you and then get your haircut as they will cut all the dead hair off. Also try not to straighten your hair, and don't hair dry it. As to much heat to your hair ruins it.
hope i helped xx [ Lorrena's advice column | Ask Lorrena A Question ]
Juelz0587 answered Saturday December 29 2007, 12:19 pm: make sure you ALWAYS use a heat protector when using a blow dryer OR flatiron. The heat can damage your hair bad. My suggestion is get a real good shampoo and conditioner, give your haira little break ... like pull it up for a while or something, and condition the crap out of it! xcheerbabex108 answered Saturday December 29 2007, 11:52 am: Stop straightening it for a while. Buy shampoo && conditioner for dry and/or damaged hair. And no, you don't have to straighten it; if you want your hair to become healthy again, you need to take a break. Also, go to your salon or your hairdresser and ask him/her. They may have products to help.
TheAnnie answered Saturday December 29 2007, 11:06 am: i would definatly recommend you not straightning for a while. it just seems that its gonna get worse from the straightning
also remember to condition it [ TheAnnie's advice column | Ask TheAnnie A Question ]
DefinedEyes answered Saturday December 29 2007, 10:59 am: Deep condition your hair, and don't straighten it for a couple of weeks. Give it time to heal, try using shampoo that is specifically made for healing split ends, and dried hair. AND if none of that seems to help, go to a salon and see what they say. :) [ DefinedEyes's advice column | Ask DefinedEyes A Question ]
