I'm only 5ft3 so I could never be a catwalk model, but people always tell me I have the face of a model, and that my eyes could be used on certain adverts advertising eye makeup and stuff.
I figured that if I could do some modelling, it would be a good experience and why not?
Also, it would be good to have some extra money from it.
But I'd like to know, what type of face do you need to have to be a model?
And what type of things can I model for where I don't need to be tall and straight up and down (like most catwalk models are)?
And just generally qualities that would help me, and how I should go about trying to get some modelling?

Hi face models tend to have really high cheek bones, with a sharp jaw line. Also your eyes can be any shape they like as thats what makes everyone look different. their eyes. Have you not noticed all models have different eye shapes and colour but they all tend to have high cheek bones and a sharp jaw line.

Hi what I think you should tell your hairdresser to do is, give you really short layers as this gives more volume to your hair, and get feather's done to the front of your hair. Also get it trimmed and how sbout getting a side fringe? if you want that is.

my hair has become so burnt from all the straigthening and highlights and product that ive put in it. i HAVETA strighten it now cause scrunching just poofs and its so discusting and frizzy. I dont know what to do with it! my mom says japeneeze straightening will just make it worse . frriizz stuff does not work. anything i can do or get done at the salon?
Hi what i suggest you do is go to a salon and tell them about your problem and they should recommend a shampoo and conditioner for your hair, as your hair seems badly damaged. Also start using the shampoo they give you and then get your haircut as they will cut all the dead hair off. Also try not to straighten your hair, and don't hair dry it. As to much heat to your hair ruins it.

Hi, it doesn't matter about social status, because at the end of the day everyone is human, and it doen't matter what status you are.Also if you want to talk to them, bring up an interesting topic such as which music do you like ect. Anything that you msy think will interest them and interests you.

Okay, in my writing class we had free time to write about anything we wanted. Well I started writing a like little kiddi story, and well I've never had problems writing I really love it and I've let people read things I've written out of class and they say they rock So im pretty confident in this class. Well in my story I put everyone in my class (not by name, me and my BFF have nicknames for everyone!! so I used those.) Well it wasn't that great of an idea, because on thursday I was telling Nikki about my story when my teacher overheard and MADE me read it aloud. Well a lot of the nicknames were obvious.. and now everyones mad at me. And on Friday the only person who didnt care was the boy i like so he was like "katies storys rock and u all know everything she wrote about is true." because everything i wrote was sotrys that happened with a little twist.
Well he was all set until they pointed out one of the mini-storys I have him come into the classroom with girlpants on, not knowing it. And he didnt like that.
So now everyones madd including my BFF because in one the storys we had a pizza party and she got pizza all on her face and grill... (braces and achne.) but i didnt say it in a mean way she does have those things and picks on herself i tried apoligizing to everyone and they dont listen.
bad news I got an A and if I rip it up my grade wont stay becuase we have to get creadit by putting it in our portfolio.
Oh my god, why should you care what anyone else thinks? So what you said them mean stuff about them, they'll get over it, in a about a week! They'll have something else to gossip about! Just don't worry about it, everyone will forget about it soon, don't stress! And u got an A, don't rip it up! It will look good on your portfolio.

Hello. I think it would simply be lovely if you could please inform me on how in Heaven you could have possibly known what music I listen to. If you are referring to the list of "band of the week" that I used to post on my column, first off, it was really random to tell me that now. And two, they were not bad bands, just ones that I heard on TV shows and looked up and liked. I posted them because I thought that no one really knew them and it would be good chance for everyone to get out a little more. Obviously you only listen to regular mainstream pop radio stations. Three, how did you know that I (missbananafontana) had posted that question? And a word of advice to you, is to listen more closely in English class since you sound very unintelligent and more like a three-year-old than the smart 15-year-old that I am sure that you are. I am also curious as to why you give advice here. You apparently cannot give quality helpful advice, and I would be surprised that anyone referred you here, since that would be/was a useless referral. All in all, I have a very low opinion of you now, so if you would like to redeem and explain yourself, feel free to answer back.

Also maybe I should not have judged you and said you have rubbish taste in music as it was very impolite of me to say that, so I appologize. I love brands like J. Crew, Polo Ralph Lauren, Barbour, Brooks Bros. and Lacoste. I love them so much but I simply cannot spend the money. I could be talked into spending $45 for a polo I know would last for years, but I cannot spend thousands of dollars. I just don't have the resources to spend that kind of money. So my question is, what are some quality, nice clean brands that can offer clothing at some more reasonable prices? And even better would be somewhere I can buy the sort of brands I listed above for an affordable price. I like IZOD and brands like that, can you give me some more? Oh and it would be simply WONDERFUL if someone could devise a little outfit for me. (Relatively inexpensive, of course.) I would love something with little embroideries like whales or sailboats (etc.) since I can't seem to locate anything like that properly. And, is there anywhere I could get some Sperry topsiders less expensively? (Or any brand topsiders actually.) Thank you!

I'm depressed. I'm 14. School hasnt really been so pleasant for me, friends-wise. It looks like I have a lot of friends because I hang around with a lot of people, but really they dont feel like friends to me anymore. Most of them backstabbed me before and I just forgave but I never forgot so it's like how am I supposed to trust someone who has betrayed me so harshly? Also, people who think they are better and barely talk to me that I use to be best friends with, only because they care about boys and will drop me in a second. Every "best friend" i've lost was either because of a lost of touch, or a huge drama scence. I don't really let people get to me. The reason I lose so many friends is because most of them have changed and expect me to follow them, and I dont. It's hard to make new friends because it's hard to trust people. I'm sick of getting hurt. I'm sick of feeling the way I do. I dont know what to do. I'm not going to change who I am just to become or stay friends with someone. I just wish I had a constant friend. Someone who is always there for me, and doesnt have a change of moods, one day you like me one day you dont. I just want someone genuine! It's probably too much to ask. But I dont know how to meet new people, I'm just not that type of person that confronts random people. I basically dont speak unless spoken to. Not in a mean way or anything, but I dont go out of my way to talk to someone. Im not sure if this is bad, and I would just really appreciate your advice with all these things I'm throwing at you. It's basically a scatter of all my thoughts. Thanks!

What i suggest you do is when your like in class or at lunch, don't sit with your mates go sit with someone else. Just approach some1 who looks freindly. Also i think to boost your confidence you should go get a make over and go get pampered!!!! Because that way you'll feel great and confident!!!!!

Tonight my friend Jennifer had dinner with her brother, her sister-in-law, as well as her 2 nieces and her father at a
restaurant her brother, sister-in-law love. When Jennifer was driving her father home Jennifer said to her father in the
car: Dad did you like the place Carl and Susan took us to; Her father said; it was ok; Jennifer said; yeah I felt the
same way. And the portion of my food I ordered was huge; Any way her father said to her; yes your portion was huge,
but i dont think you liked what you ordered because you didnt really eat any of what was on your plate. Jennifer took
this to mean her father thought she should have eaten everything on her plate. She then said but dad it was a big
portion, and he replied: yes it was but you love vegetables and you hardly ate those so you probably did not like it.
ANY WAY Jennifer called me and told me what her father said and said to me: is my dad telling me I should have
eaten a lot on the plate or even everything; And I told her; no your father is not saying that all, your father does not
care how much you eat he just was just talking about if you liked the food or not; MY QUESTION: DO YOU

I'm just really scared right now. My dad has
just got finished with hitting me over and
over again and he took a plastic hanger and
just keep whacking me with it on my toes. And
that kills! I kept trying to run away but I
was too in shock to move out of his reach and
my sister doesn't think anything of it because
he does it a lot so she thinks that's what your
supposed to do. After watching my dad hit me,
my sister frequently elbows me or punches me in
the stomach if we play hide and seek and she loses.
My parents buy my sister everything and play games
with her and treat her well but they treat me
like I'm a piece of crap. They call me "a piece
of shit" and "a waste of space." And they threatened
to send me to a shrink and never let me see my
family again. My relatives gossip to everyone if
I tell them my dad hit me and they don't believe
me so I can't tell them. I will NEVER tell my
friends because even though I love them dearly,
I couldn't trust them with that. Also, I hate my
guidance counselor and I just can't tell him. After
my dad hit me I had my hand on the phone and I
was just about to dial 911 but I got scared and
stopped. I did it once before but my parents
denied everything. Once I was on vacation and
my parents were verbally abusing me and this
lady heard and called the police but my parents
denied everything. Sometimes I give my parents
a reason to hit me like if we are in a fight
but I don't know I'm really scared to come out
of my room right now. I need all the advice I
can get and if you believe I should call a number
and tell them what's going on who do I call?
I want a professional. But if they take me away
from the parents, where will I live? I really
don't want to live with strangers in an
orphanage! Would they put me at a friend's
or relatives house? I'm just really scared and
I don't really want to leave my parents. But they
can be abusive and I don't know how much longer
I can put up with it! Help!!!!!

Your parents are abusing and neglecting you, and this a crime in the uk. You seriousley need to go to social sevices, or the police, and if they deny it you should show them the marks what they have done to you , and you should not put up with it any longer. Nobody deserves that abuse what you parents are giving you. And YOU are not a waste of space! Do not listen to the abuse your parents give you, please do that what i told you to do, because you parents are committing a crime, and they should be punished for this.

14/f. Sorry if this is a bit long. I have a group of 5 friends; we sit together at lunch, hang out on weekends, blah blah. Now, theres this girl, 'Jill', who thinks she is the 6th member of our group. We'd be happy to be friends with her, but shes so freaking annoying. She's immature, always copies us, invites herself places.. One time she just showed up at the mall when she heard about it, even though we didn't invite her at all.
The 5 of us try to ignore her, hoping she'll get the message, yet she still sits with us, walks with us, etc. The only problem is, I feel really bad. I think she knows that she is always being excluded in our plans, and she's obviously really upset. She has no other friends besides us.
The question is, should we keep being friends with her? I don't think it's fair to let Jill think her friends are us, when really all we do is talk about her meanly behind her back with eachother. Or should we just be nice and let her sit with us and stuff? She's SO annoying.
HI, DO NOT BE FREINDS WITH HER. Jill is a tag along to you and your 5 mates. Why should you and you mates be nice to her, when all she does is annoy you, JIll needs to get some new freinds, because clearly you and your mates are not proper mates to her. Jill does see you lot being mean to her, but she chooses to ignore it, as she hasn't got any more freinds. But when she does make new freinds she will leave you and your freinds behind, all she is doing is using you, until she makes some proper mates! My advice to you to is to DITCH HER!!!!

HI, what i suggest you do is get a hobby in exercising like you could start dancing or going to the gym. I konw everyone loves food, but try to have a routine where your gonna eat the food at a certain time, rather than eating all the time.
