Question Posted Thursday December 20 2007, 11:08 pm

There are two girls who sit at my table in art. They're pretty cool, and I'd want to talk to them a bit more. How can I start a conversation?

If it matters, theyre kinda above me social-status wise.

Hi, it doesn't matter about social status, because at the end of the day everyone is human, and it doen't matter what status you are. Also if you want to talk to them, bring up an interesting topic such as which music do you like ect. Anything that you msy think will interest them and interests you.
hope i helped
xx

girls love funny guys(i know i do). make a joke about something. if that doesn't win them over, compliment them. girls also love compliments. a question i like to use to break the ice with anyone is "so how's life?" it makes people laugh and helps to get to know them. good luck!

Talking about whatever you're doing in art would be a good start. Compliments on their work where appropriate would also be good.

Other classes or school-related activities would also be common ground that you share and therefore good conversation topics, especially if you are also in the same class for other subjects.

just start by i like your painting (or whatever you do in art) and then she will problay say thank you i like yours too and then you could say would you like to succed in art when you are out of school and then she will answer and you say what you want to succed in and then you guys will start talking about other stuff its pretty easy and even if they dont end up liking you then at least you got some practice good luck
