WELOVEGRANDMADONNA answered Saturday December 22 2007, 1:19 am: I can relate to you. When i was little i was really outgoing now im not all that much and im fine with it. But what i do realise is that if you want to be more outgoing you should find something that makes you really happy, or find something that gets you hyper and just run with it. I can assure you that the things you dont say or dont do, will eventually eat up inside of you. [ WELOVEGRANDMADONNA's advice column | Ask WELOVEGRANDMADONNA A Question ]
TheAnnie answered Friday December 21 2007, 3:51 pm: the best way to overcome being shy is to randomly start talking with people you dont know
this may seem super hard but it doesnt have to be
such as in class, ask them what they got for the answer to a problem
or while waiting in line at lunch just look and smile and when they pick up a food be like is that any good?
or you could ask them about the homework
so it can be really easy things
if start with small talk to random people you will prettyu soon get over your shyness
i used to be kinda shy, like i wouldnt really talk much with anyone except my friends but after moving so many times i find that this way works best, and now im too outgoing lol
dont worry, you can do it
start small and eventually you will be comfortable talking and laughing with others
also note that it does take time, i mean you wont become bolder in a week
its like a fear and fear takes time to overcome aswell
well good luck! you can do it! [ TheAnnie's advice column | Ask TheAnnie A Question ]
