sex?

Question Posted Thursday December 20 2007, 11:06 am

Does anyone think a 14 yr old having sex would be slutty? If she has been with this guy for a year, or even less than 12 months, but more than 4? and them knowing each other for 2 years?

This is not about me, I'm just wondering, and no offense to any 14 yr olds, it's just that some people call sluts now-a-days for wearing skirts, or too much eyeliner.

Anywho...you think it'd be better if she was 15? And she knew the consequences, and had was taking birth control, had condoms, etc.

Give me your opinions, thanks!

age is just a number. i lost mine at 13 and am still very sexually active, and yes i tend to be a "slut" and i am the class whore. but people are going to judge me no matter what, so i've learned just to do whatever the heck i want. if that person wants to have sex, they should do it whenever they feel they are ready, not when the world tells them they should be ready.

Honestly, I believe that age is just a number. Someone has to be mature enough physically, mentally, and spiritually to have sex, and I know many people who are way over the age of 14 that I wouldn't consider being mature enough for it. I lost my virginity when I was 14 years old, To some that may sound slutty, but quite franky, I don't care what other people think about it. Even though I'm no longer with the guy I lost it to, I'm still happy about it, and I wouldn't take it back. Girls just need to make sure that they really think about it before they have sex with anyone, no matter how old they are. :]

Well, I'm 14 so I won't really judge my opinion on the first question, just because I have way too much influence from chicks at my school.

To me, I think 14 is pretty young to be sleeping with a guy. Even though girls say, "I really love him", I don't think anyone at this age knows what "love" really is. Teenagers in general aren't really mature enough to make the right choices concerning those matters.

She wouldn't really know the consequences until they really hit her.

I don't think its slutty I just think its too young . Maybe this person should re think what she's doing and sortve wait till she's more mature and has a better understanding of the consequences to having sex 14 15 16 age doesn't matter what matters is how mature the person is and how educated he or she is to everything there is to know about having sex I hope this person is protecting herself though because of the many deseases out there you never know . But yea like I said I wouldn't call it slutty just young.

i would consider people who have not graduated high school yet to be dumb for choosing to have sex. maybe not slutty, but just really freaking dumb. to me, they should be able to support a child in a normal environment before they make that decision. it doesn't matter how long they've known the person, either. if someone is still by law a minor, there is no freaking way they can raise a child in a normal environment. and i'm not one of those anti-abortion people either- i'm very pro-choice. but it's just retarded when people are forced to make that choice because they were irresponsible. rape is an entirely different thing altogether.
i don't support the abstinence-only sex education. i realize that there are sexually active minors, but that is their choice... i just don't support their choice personally. honestly, i think it's dumb, but it makes it less dumb if they use protection.

Well it's not slutty. Only if you go out of your way to have sex with every guy. I don't think it's a smart thing to do at a young age. Most girls don't know what they are getting into. If you are a prude, then you could be dumped. If you have too much sex, it takes away all romance and nearly turns into a friends with benefits thing.

I think it would be better at 16. To me it's just in between and almost there to 18. Honestly.. i think it's best to wait because sex puts so much strain on a relationship! even now, for me it's hard to have a little break without my guy being a bit antsy.. If you knew the consequences and were protected then at least you are being responsible.

Slutty is indescriminate sex with many partners...

Having sex at 14, with anyone, is just not that smart, but it's not slutty.

Being a bit older, and practicing safe sex are ALWAYS better, but still not nessicarly the best.

'Slut' is just a nasty word people throw at women, often for no good reason. Frankly, I would suggest to all women, to remove it from thier vocabularies.

I think you should have sex when you are old enough to deal with the consequences of having children. There is always a chance of getting pregnant and she won't be able to handle that.

MAK answered Thursday December 20 2007, 10:26 pm:
I wouldn't necessarily think it was slutty, I would think it would be stupid. I'm not into the whole "no sex until marriage" thing, but I do believe that the girl should be a woman in order to have sex, meaning she has to have the maturity, both mentally and physically, and also equipment to raise a child in case she gets pregnant.

A 14 year old female is still a girl. A 15 year old is still a girl. A 16 year old is still a girl. 17 is on the borderline of being a girl and a woman. A girl is still a child. And children should not be having sex in my opinion. Girls can play with boys, but in my opinion if you're 15 and younger you shouldn't be doing more than "fondling" each other.
