I did something really stupid
ok... i know i sound insane, but im 14/f
some guy i love in florida wanted to kill himself
i felt helpless and i tried to stop him. i told him i would tell my mom, but we live a good day away from him.
i couldnt do anything, i dont know if he died.
i wanted to kill myself, i love him, and i couldnt stop him.
at first, i tried to hang myself, i became shaky and delirious
so i tried to calm down, and i couldnt.
so i went into the kitchen, and grabbed the nearest pill bottle, ibuprofen.
i put the bottle to my mouth, and swallowed.
the problem is, i swallowed seven. i know i sound crazy, but ive NEVER overdosed in my life with anything.
i am freaking, because after i realized what i had done, i researched it, and it says to seek immediate medical attention... but i cant.
i worked too hard to gain trust in my mom.
its ten of three in the morning.
i am afraid of the sideeffects of what i have done...
i need to know, its still early... is there anyway i can reverse it? stop the pills effects? wash them out of my system? anything. i dont need to be lectured, i need to know how to stop this.

The worst that can happen to you is that you'll get sick & you'll probably throw them up. If you don't, then you'll feel sick & if you rest for about an hour or 2, you should be fine.
However, it's better that you get medical attention seeing as how they can help you. I would tell your mother anyways. She may not trust you around medicine anymore [mine doesn't], but I think she'd rather you told her than her finding you laying there not breathing, correct?
Next time though, think before you do something. Killing yourself over a guy is stupid. My friend died a month ago [it wasn't his fault], and I wanted to die as well but I didn't do anything to myself. I know he'd want better for me, so I just let my life take its course & I did what I would usually do, I wrote.
If there's anyway you can contact him at all, such as by phone or email, try that. He could be fine, you never know.

Just because a guy wants to kill himself, it doesn't mean that you have to follow his actions.

7 Ibuprofen will not kill you. It probably wont even make you sick.
What it will do, is cause a small amount of liver damage (because your poor liver now has to siphon unneeded medication out of you)
Had you taken 15-20 youd probably be needing to visit a hospital right now. As it is, youve probably done the equivalent of about a weeks worth of heavy drinking to your liver. Not great, but not overly horrible.
Dont do it again. Its a bad idea.
And dont attach yourself to emo guys in a different state who want to kill themselves.

You need to listen to ysgirls advice and seek medical attention immediately.

Seven ibuprofen aren't going to do anything to you except make you sleepy, as long as they are just regular 200mg pills. Check the bottle. If they're prescription strength, then you are going to have to suck it up and either call 911 or tell your mom.
In the meantime, eat something to help absorb the medicine, drink some milk and then lots of water to try to flush your system out.
I know you don't want a lecture, but please remember in the future that your life is valuable and you can only control the decisions that YOU make. Make good ones. You have that ability, and you can control your future.

The only way to get the pills out of your system is to seek immediate medical attention.
Call Poison Control, they will tell you the same.
It is better to tell your mom now and worry about trust issues later. She would much rather you come forward and say "this is what I did, I need to go to the Emergency Room" than to find you laying dead.
