Well, first it depends on the type of dog. A small dog is kinda spoiled sometimes and big dog is kind of like a guard dog. It hapens to me too. Dogs are sometimes territorial. Maybe they've "marked their territory" where you go if you know what I mean. Some dogs are also lonely. They want to be with people and make friends. It's not weird.

Not all dogs do it you just have to get to know the dog. One day go by your neighbors house and say pardon me i relized that your dog is so CUTE!! (if he is) >> THANK YOU

dogs like to protect their owners.
so if they see someone coming to their house whom they've never seen go into their house before, they will bark.

just like, if you saw someone coming to your house you would look out the window to see who it was :)

They have no life basically. My dog does the same thing. But she's usally sleeping on the furniture near the window and if she sees something "suspicious" she barks. But it's mainly because she doesn't know who those people are and think by barking, they'll go away or alert the family.

It's their way to letting their owners know that there's someone near the house, protective instinct I guess. Almost all dogs do this.

Well sometimes dogs are overprotective and want their owner to know when a stranger is approaching their territory.
Or maybe that dog is lonely and wants a play mate.
You never really know with dogs. Unless you approach them and give them a pat and see their reaction.

Dogs enjoy the outdoors as much as we do. They enjoy looking out the window to see the world going on around them, as we do.
Maybe he's barking at you because he knows he sees you often? Maybe he is just the barking type. It's hard to say, because they all have different manners.

Don't Freak out. Most dogs are very protective of their surroundings. Or maybe this dog just doesn't like your smell. If you have your own dog, maybe its jealous. But its usual for most dogs to bark or growl at people they might not know. Or maybe its lonely. I hope I could help, but just don't freak out about it. If it really bothers you then tell someone about it and maybe they'll do something. ;)

When a dog senses another person outside, they will usually bark. A lot of dogs sit in the window too, and just watch outside, i guess maybe keeping guard? It is normal, and I know plenty of dogs that do that.
