I'd rather be told the ugly truth than a pretty lie. You can fix things with the truth, or at least attempt to.
When you tell the smallest lie, it has the potential to build into the biggest lie and it'll just fuck you over in the end. I've learned this from others mistakes. And kindof my own. People will ALWAYS find out the lie in the end [Unless youre a damn good liar.] and it'll really just end up hurting the person more. It's a horrible feeling knowing you have been lied to. It just feels like you're not even worthy of the truth.

I'd rather be told the truth. I highly dis like when people are not honest with me and I don't know how to deal with lies that well. Eather the truth or the lie would destroy me, but it's easier to fix the situation after you know the truth.

Will the lie save me from the entire situation? If yes then, to be honest, I'd rather be lied to. But if I'm screwed either way then I'd like to know the truth. That was I can still save my life because I know the situation.

It kind of depends on your situation. In some cases, lying is good, because you could be helping someone. But in some cases, it could be bad, like if your cheating on someone, you should definetly tell them, because later it could get worse.

I would rather know the truth. For sure. Because lies only last for so long...you can never be oblivious forever. The longer a lie is told, the more it'll hurt when the truth comes out. It's best to get it over with and move on before it gets even worse with lies.

The truth should always be told. Why would you want to base any part of your life or someone else's on a lie? It may be hurtful to find out the truth, but at least you can then deal with it. If you found out you had been lied to on top of everything else, you would have to deal with being played a fool and that is sometimes even more painful then the truth.

i would so rather know the truth about something even though it mite hurt me or "destroy" my life. telling the truth is so much better than telling a lie. b.c eventually whoever the lie was told to thier going to find out and its gonna hurt even more!

this is probably something to with cheating right? well unless i believed the lie and didnt know anything else i would rather have that one. but if there is some possibility that i could find out what happended without being told by that person, that would afect me much worse because she/he lied twice.
