Floridagirl1821 answered Saturday June 23 2007, 5:57 pm: -Light colors! Dark colors will make it look smaller. I used to have dark carpet (no clue why), but when I took it out and put a light tan color my room looked way bigger.
-Keep it organized. Basicly keep your room neat, expeically the floor.
epicadvice answered Saturday June 23 2007, 4:24 pm: paint the walls the lightest color you can find. dark walls make the room look smaller.
rearrange furniture. take out things that you don't need or dont use.
keep it clean. don't leave clothes all over the floor.
make it bright. again, a dark room makes it smaller looking. open the windows, get a couple lamps, light candles at night before bed (don't forget to blow them out before you go to sleep!)
don't use huge furniture. only have one of each piece of furniture (one chair instead of two.)
orphans answered Saturday June 23 2007, 1:41 pm: cover your walls completely with mirrors
it makes your room look HUGE, but that might not be your thing
you could cover only one wall, which is cool and convenient
i have a huge mirror which alllll my friends loveee [ orphans's advice column | Ask orphans A Question ]

ebilgir_ answered Saturday June 23 2007, 1:31 pm: center the bed on one wall, and keep it clean, junk makes a room look smaller.
The less stuff you have in there, the bigger it will look, but the more plain it will look, also, so find a balance between the two. [ ebilgir_'s advice column | Ask ebilgir_ A Question ]
