heya sorry to reply so late, don't be scared about approaching a girl.

By saying your penis is small your going to be paranoid and will never get intimate with a girl because you can't overcome your own issues with yourself. the only reason a tampon will hurt is because its not been pushed up far enough.

Close to the opening on the inside there is a muscle which if you don't push the tampon past it will hurt quite a bit.

Make sure you get the tampon in far enough usually instructions come with the pack.

Also relax while you insert it and it should go in easier without the pain
