How big of a chance do I have of getting pregnant considering I had sex the day before my expected period? Like, I had sex last night, but he didnt go but theres still pre-cum, but whats the chance of me being pregnant? I usually get my period between the 20-23 of every month, so far I haven't gotten it and I know I can't be pregnant that soon. So what are my chances?
iLYBiGGG answered Thursday June 21 2007, 12:04 am: the chances of you getting pregnant are very slim, although, right before your period is the most likely time for conception, since you're about to ovulate. quit stressing about it, though. that could cause your period to be even later. wait a week or two & get a pregnancy test. & you should probably talk to your doctor about birth control, so you won't have this problem. =]

Its ok i've been scared like this before... Try not to think about it and dont stress out. Because if you do that there is a bigger chance of your period coming later. Because stress affects your hormones!
soendearing answered Wednesday June 20 2007, 10:23 pm: Well if you used protection, you should be ok. If you didn't, then I would wait about a week after you get your period to make sure. You will most likely still get your period this month, being that you had sex so close to the time of getting your period. What you really need to watch for is next months period. If that doesn't come, you're should take another test. [ soendearing's advice column | Ask soendearing A Question ]
nonamecat answered Wednesday June 20 2007, 10:22 pm: Truthfully, it's pretty unlikely that you are pregnant. While fertilization can occur from pre- come, it is less likely than from ejaculation. Additionally, ovulation typically occurs two weeks prior to your period, so you may not even have an egg there to fertilize. Wait two weeks from the date you expect to have your period. If you still do not have it, take a pregnancy test. Taking a pregnancy test the first time you urinate after sex (as suggested before me) is a waste of your money and a test. The hormone the test is designed to detect does not have enough time to build up in your body using that method. Waiting two weeks after your expected period allows enough time for this hormone to build up in your system if you are pregnant. [ nonamecat's advice column | Ask nonamecat A Question ]

The g-d given purpose for ahving sex is really to make a baby, so BE CAREFUL if that's not what you want. There are SO MANY ways to protect yourself. That said, take an instant pregnancy test 1st pee of the morning (you can save it for later if that's not conevenient). Good luck!

mwalnutss answered Wednesday June 20 2007, 8:07 pm: hey. if you used a condom there is like a 13% chance that you will get pregnant. but just wait like 2 weeks, and if you dont get your period then go get a pregnancy test/go to docter/tell a parent or someone. but dont wait like 5 weeks, do it right away.
