period coming?!?!
Please!!!!! help. I am a 13 year old girl. I am pretty small (5 ft, 87 pounds). I want to know when I will get my period. I have had pubic and armpit hair for like a couple years and I have had discharge for probably a year. I feel so left out because all my friends have had there period and I have heard that your breasts get bigger when you get your period. WHAT ARE OTHER SIGNS OF WHEN I WILL GET MY PERIOD BESIDES THE BASIC ONES! I am so insecure at this stage of my life and I do not know what to do!! HELP! Thanks <3.

well i noticed that no one said that you mostly get your period more when your 100 pounds. You will probably be getting it kinda soon (like within the year). Don't worry you really can't change when you will get it. & just enjoy it while you don't, b.c lets see...blodding and cramps are very enjoyable :) hahah

You have to be a little patient. Every body is different... you might have a lot of the signs, but don't worry, that sooner or later it'll come...
as for feeling left out because you haven't gotten it yet, sigh.. trust me, when you do, you'll wish you didn't haha! It can be such a drag! Be happy that you don't have to be dealing with cramps, bloating, and fatigue as some of the many symptons for when you get your period... Enjoy not having it! that soon you'll get it for sure =)

I felt the exact same way. I was the last person I knew that didn't get theirs, and I felt horrible.
For you, I have a feeling because you're so small, thats why. Usually girls don't start until they hit 100 pounds[or around there] because your body wants to be sure you can support a baby, whether you want to or not.
Its perfectly normal to feel left out, but trust me, its not all its cracked up to be.
Okay, the thing about your boobs growing is SO an urban legend. It happens to some girls, but I kept growing at the same rate I had been. No dramatic increase. Right before I started, I kept feeling sick to my stomach, very queasy and had bad cramps. I thought I had the flu.

you should be glad you dont have it yet, it basically ruins your life, the only thing its good for is making babies, and im pretty sure a 13 year old doesnt want a baby.
so be thankful your late on this, itll be better in the long run.

hey girl. im 12 and i already have my period. i got it when i was 11. weird right? yea. so i had NO IDEA i was gonna get it. my doctor had told me i wouldnt get it until i was 12 or 13, but obviousy he was wrong. well i guess you never really know. make sure you always have a pad with you. even though ive had my period alot of times, i still am nottttt comfortable wearing a tampon. i also have really big breasts and im not embarassed. they happened after my period. but the thing is, dont be insucure. it doesnt matter when you get your period. i only know about 3 people who have it so dont feel bad. i guess thats all i can say! xoxo

omg you really DO NOT want your period, you miss out on so much. ENJOY YOUR LIFE WHILE YOU CAN! but signs are:
breasts hurting
discharge
mood swings
pubic hair
more hair on legs, armpits, etc.
you're only 13, you have plenty of time. some girls don't get it until they're 16! until then, enjoy your period-free life, LOL.

Dont worry you will get your period soon i mean some comes early than others ans some comes late.And having your period aint all that fun, to know if your coming on your eaither start having bad cramps, you will see blood,ans somtimes people say that your voice change when you on it or your moods start to change. So dont be a hurry to grow up enjoy it while you got the chance.

ok the same thing has hppened to me, im a little taller and weigh about 10 more pounds and ive had discharge for about 3 years...so ive been waiting too. but dont worry it will come it really does take time, and you never really know when it is going to happen. plus there are tings you have missed.. and trust me im angry too becasue almost all the signs have come in[[i wont repeat wut wackyjacky said becasue that would just be reading info over again. the same thing has happened to me and when everything finally started to come i was angry when my period didnt, but really A LOT of girls are in your shoes and it sucks. Plus somtiems getting you period older is better becasue you might have a better tolerance for the shitty pai ull be in and also you will be older and more knowledgable[[spelling??]] so dont worry and be patient, as hard as it may be, many girlls[[sadly incluiding me]] are in it with YOU!!!

The biggest signs are:
* your hips getting wider
* hair growing under your arms and around your nipples and vulva
* sweating under your arms
* developing acne
* thick and whitish or slippery and clear vaginal discharge
* start to gain weight
But look honey, I know you feel left out, but having your period is nothing to look forward too. Its nothing but a big pile of blood in your underwear, and the biggest stomach ache of your life for a week straight. Consider yourself lucky you don't have it yet, as when you get it, you'll wish you wouldn't have. But don't worry, you'll get it soon

well there arent really any signs i can think of, but everyone gets there at differnt times Im sure you will be getting it anytime soon. but dont be to worried its nothign great. believe me and most girls will tell you the same. You are fine my friend was about 14 when she first got hers some people are as old as 16 before they get theres it all depends on your body.

The only way you can know for sure is when you actually get it. Al those signs are just ballpark figure so they aren't set in stone and guaranteed. But it sounds like you will soon, so dont fret!
