In high school, do most people carry around their bookbag? Or locker when they need to? I'm just scared that my class will be like across the school when I need to locker.

yeah most people, especially guys, carry their backpacks. one word of quick advice, do not get a roller backpack, it is the epitomy of uncool.

all through middle school and my first 2 years of hs i did not carry one.. it wasn' really "cool" too but this year the cut the time between classes and i fould myself needing something so i got a really cute tote, well two one for abercrombie and one from target which i use to help carry some of my books. I have a locker and i try to go there atleast twice a day but it doesn't really work out because we have an open college style campus with 8 buildings and its hard with only 4 mins between classes to acually get to our classes much less go to our lockers

Depends on the school. In my school if your a senior or if your locker is having troubles you can carry your bookbag. One year my locker was on the other side of school and i was always lkate for classes. Finnally i shared a locker with a VERY trustworthy friend of mine that was closer and i wasnt late nomore. Just hope thatyou have a good locker.

Well, on the first day of school you're allowed to be a little late cause you can just let them know you couldn't find the class or anything, and at the day, see if you can find any quicker hallways or things to get to your locker or if there's a routine you can do. Like last year, I took 3 of my class binders around with me in the morning, did a drop off on the way to lunch, and then grabbed the next three for the rest of the day or whatever. But, you should be allowed to carry your bookbag around. We are at my highschool, and everyone does it. I hope I helped.

But don't you have like a 5-7 minute passing period?
Get a school map and when you get your schedule plan it out. Figure out how you get to your classes and where your locker is.
If you have a class close to your locker near 3rd period.
Then carry your school books from 1st/2nd/blah blah. When you're done with it, then go to your locker and drop those books off and grab the ones you need for the next periods BEFORE lunch. Then put those away at lunch.

In my school, which is quite small, I carry a backpack/big purse to all of my classes even though I stop at my locker between each class. I just have a lot to carry so it is easier. If my classes are really far from my locker sometimes I bring what binders (etc) for both blocks.
Do what is easiest for you and follows any rules and restrictions.

At my school we can carry any kind of back pack/ bag/ anything we want. You can buy a locker IF you want.. but hardley anyone does.
All schools are different, so can't help you there!

I don't, but a lot of people do. I only stop at my locker at the very beginning of the day, right before lunch when i get my lunch and change books and at the very end of the day when i pack up to go home, and it's not hard. My classes are EVERYWERE, lol, so there's no time to stop. But, it depends on the school. A school i shadowed carried around bookbags. On the first day of school, you'll just go straight to your homeroom with your stuff (well, at least i did) and they assign you your locker and stuff, so just ask around if you're supposed to or not. hope this helps

Yes in high school most people carry their backpack.. it just becomes easier than visiting your locker after each class to get books
If you want to visit your locker- do it when you are near (like if your next class is near it)
Don't be scared of anything in High School.. nothing is really that bad.. but if you feel ncomfortable.. tell a teacher you trust or your counselor...
