esbeautiful1313 answered Tuesday August 29 2006, 12:31 am: When you 1st get your period, it doesn't normally come every month. This could go on for a year or so (or more or less). Just try this: when you do get it, mark that date on a calander. Keep doing this...then when it does get on a normal cycle, you will be able to tell when it's coming! xAskkMechaBeccax answered Tuesday August 29 2006, 12:07 am: dont worry. since you're just starting, it wont come regularly. it may take some time before it even comes close to being on a normal schedule. ive been having mine for two years now and it still changes on me from time to time. i even get it twice in a month every now and then. dont sweat it. you are not pregnant. its fine. you'll get it soon enough. MelLeDisko answered Monday August 28 2006, 11:52 pm: there's nothing to worry about. my period actually hasn't happened yet [ and the "due date" was like, 10 days ago ] and i talked to my mother about it yesterday and she said that whenever you're younger, your period can be irregular at times and especially within the first year of having one. so don't expect it to always come whenever you think it is. but make sure to keep a chart to tell your doctor whenever she asks you next how much time it takes for your periods to come. so, no worries. yeah, it's not your hymen. the only way it can break is if you're really really active or horseback ride [ rarely though ] or you've had sex, which obviously, you haven't. I hope I helped. <3 [ MelLeDisko's advice column | Ask MelLeDisko A Question ]
kaitX3 answered Monday August 28 2006, 11:46 pm: settle down there is nothing wrong with you.
it is completely normal to not have a consistant period for about the first year you have it.
so therefore you have nothing to worry about.
and yes it was your peroid and not you hymen. since you are a virgin more than likely you hymen hasn't "broke" yet.
don't stress over this. you should have your period some time soon. i've heard of girls that have gone 3 months without their periods and were completely fine so don't worry!just be prepared for it and everything will be perfectly fine!
