Height matters
13/f ok so im 5'6" but im slim and most of the guys in my grade are shorter than me or at least a little short. My height at the most. Would they not want to go out with me or kiss me if im that tall?

A easy way to solve this is to date older....Honestly a guy who is smart wont care but alot of guys do. Dont worry your very fortunate im envious ive always been short 5'3" and im 16. You could also wait these guys will have a growth spurt very soon. so cheer up..

Only really short guys are that insecure. Most guys like tall girls- longer legs! I'm 5'8 and I've never had a problem. If it's not a big deal to you, then that's all that matters.

there will be so manyguys taller than you,
a lot of them in your current grade probably just havent gotten gone through their growth spirt.

hey, i have the same problem actually. although i'm a little older than you, i'm taller than most guys my age. the thing is, that honestly yeah guys are gonna care about height. just like most girls want a guy that's taller, most guys want a girl that's shorter, but i think you already knew that. but i have a friend who's four inches taller than her guy, and they are both fine with it and have been going out for quite some time. so i won't be fake and say all guys aren't gonna care, but you'll find several who won't. and also, like everyone else said, you're thirteen and you probably had your growth spurt early. by the time you're in high school, most guys will have had theirs and they'll be taller than you by at least a little bit or at least same height. (which most guys are fine with dating girls the same height as them, just as long as they're not way taller) so just try to wait it out for a year or so, or however long it takes them to grow, by next summer they'll probably have gone through their growth spurt.

Hey, since you are only 13 the will probably be going through growth spurts very soon and be taller than you in no time. 5'6" Is not THAT tall, I'm 5'8 1/2" myself and I have a friend who is 5'10". As for the dating/kissing thing. I wouldn't worry about it, you are only 13 and there is PLENTY of time. I know it seems like everyone has a boyfriend/girlfriend, but most people are in the exact same boat as you. My friend who is 5'10" has had 3 boyfriends in one year, so don't worry about it. Some guys are intimidated by girls who are taller, but those are losers and need to grow up. You don't want to be with them anyway. Don't worry about your height, honey. I bet you're just gorgeous. If any guy doesn't want to go out with you because of your height, well.. they're pathetic. My friend is really tall and she always had a boyfriend. Some were shorter than her, some as tall as her. Eather way, guys will grow. They grow faster than girls, well that's what my doctor told me.

Most guys feel intiminated if girls are taller than them, that may be a problem but since the guys are only 13 they are probably going through or getting ready to go through a growth spurt, so by the end of this year they could be taller.
Don't worry about going out with guys or kissing guys, you are only thirteen, you've got plenty of years ahead of you. But i know what you mean, I'm 13 too =] But the guys at this age are just plain stupid and immature. And they shouldnt NOT like you for being tall, you can't help it. I would kill to be that tall! I'm only 5'0, so don't wish you are shorter just for the guys, they'll get over it.

hunnie i was usually taller than most boys too but that never stopped me =) height should be the LEAST of worries right now. and guess what now i am 16 and all the guys are so much taller than me! if they wouldnt want to kiss you just because you are taller than them then they are crazy and missing out on someone whose amazing!

Nah, actually, girls grow before guys. So its natural to be a little taller then the boys for a short wile. And no, some guys actually like taller woman. So, you have nothing to worry about
