Period signs?
I don't know if this goes here.....but...oh well.
I have been getting occasional cramps (not stomach area cramps, lower abdomen cramps) and discharge. My breasts are slightly tender, but nothing major, and im starting to grow more, i think. Im almost to 100 pounds, and i will confess i have been a little moody...are these signs that my period will start soon?

There might be chance but you can't be too sure with these things. Take it from me, if you feel pressure on your stomach and you feel you can't breathe very well because of the pain that means you don't have a very healthy diet. But if it hurts around your private part area you might want to use a pad when you go to sleep or when you go to school. It's better to be preparted. And also when people scare you saying that period is hell just take it as an opinion. I've had my period for almost a year and I have had no cramps or pain. Only I feel like I'm peeing in my pants. The only pain I have is changing my pads a bagillion times. I hope everything goes well.

Hey girl...becoming a women, huh? Woman-hood, gotta love it. I got my period not too long ago...b4 6th grade and I'm going into 8th grade, (14, and i'm old...i cudl've been in 9th, but i didn't learn english really well, so i'm in 8th..but who cares about me) anyways! I remember when I got my period. I was on the computer, just checking mail, until I felt something...did I pee in my pants? I go to the bathroom...joy, brownish stuff and reddish stuff. I don't remember before then but my breasts did get tender and I did get some cramps and moody, just like you. In a few weeks or so (even less) you will get it! When I have my period, I get cramps...oh about a week before it...

ok take it from someone who just started last month if your back is hurting it can mean that you just have to wait ur body knows when its time it will show u but a couple of days before i started my vaginal areas felt like i had cracked then or somthing and hurt really bad i couldn't lay on my stomach and i could beraly walk i had to have a heating pad so if this starts to happenthen you will any time now!

yes..it might be signs that you are getting you period ..most likely..when i get my period it hurts like hell on my lower part of the stomach..it should feel like someone is stabbing you..like really painfull..if it feels like that then yesu will get your period soon..hope I helped..Bye

well, since I was 16 when I started I can tell you, your breasts will swell, hurt, and be tender. You also may have cramps, and discharge, but the clue is pubic hair on your privates, and moodiness. Don't rush the period thing. Once you start you will have it till you are 55 or 60 years of age. Then, hot flashes start. So enjoy the non-period state. If you are developing, rest assured you will start so enough. It's a wonderful thing to know you are developing into a young woman, but please ask an femaleadult friend or your mom to also explain what that really means..to you. Best of luck

Yes, these are signs, especially the cramps. Don't get too excited though, your period is nothing fun. You'll have those cramps to look forward to every month. You may want to carry midol with you along with a few tampons.

yes, those are definate signs & symptoms. if you're looking for more, i'd suggest googling "period symptoms". you might want to start carrying around pads & tampons juss incase.
