Okay, so i'm a 14/f. About 4 months ago, i was 125 pounds, and i was disgusted with my body. So i decided i was going to lose weight. Well i chose the wrong path to take. I basicly cut down on food. Well, now i am 115 pounds. And today i realized something was wrong.
I was starving, and my friend, my boyfriend and my mom went to the mall, we ate there and i had about 4 peices of orange chicken and like 3 pieces of broccoli, and a fork full of rice, and i was full and i thought i was going to throw up because i was so full.
And I'm not like that, usually, i can eat pretty well. Is there any eatting disorder that can relate to this, because i'm 99% sure i'm not Bulemic or Anorexic.
And please don't say "just eat more", it's harder than you think.
blodat answered Monday July 31 2006, 4:55 pm: omg i have so been there. i lost like 30 pounds that way, but its not good. you end up getting really weak, and loose all your muscle (i had a nice 4 pack, that i LOVED and when i lost the weight, i lost the 4 pack.) but anorexic mean taht you dont eat, or you dont eat that much, if you barley eat, you can still be anorexic. and i uunderstand how its hard to eat more. just gradually eat more little by little. it is so hard, i threw up a few times trying it, but your body will get used to it. and you wilkl he able to eat more.

LoveNJstyle answered Monday July 31 2006, 2:55 pm: i don't think you have an eating disorder because 10 pounds in 4 months is a speed to lose weight as... that's what a diet is, cutting back on food. that's just a diet. now if you cut back on all food THEN you have a problem. if you were full its because your diet was sucessful and you ate slow enough that you really enjoyed your food. i know a girl that lost 15 pounds in about 2 weeks by not eating... that's a problem and she didnt eat at all so you just need to eat until you are satisfied. no worries. <3 [ LoveNJstyle's advice column | Ask LoveNJstyle A Question ]
iheartyoussx3 answered Monday July 31 2006, 2:04 pm: hey, well i think your stomach has shrunk due to the amount of food that you now eat. because you dont eat alot now your stomach cant hold as much as it used to. its going to take some time to get your stomach back to normal. just keep eating until your full everyday and eventually you will get back to normal. once your back to normal weight, if youy want to loose weight run around your block or do situps. just do anything dafer then what you did the first time.

Your stomach has shrunk. Its the same thing that happened to mine. Even if you didn't mean to im sorry but I think it has and what you do is take an extra bite each day once you feel full . Yes it is hard I had to sit there for 2 hours and not move because I ate so much to stretch my stomach out n not moving was the only way i wouldn't throw up. DancinCutie08 answered Monday July 31 2006, 11:26 am: I don't think your problem is as big as you think it is. 10 pounds is more than safe to lose in 4 monthes. My friend who was anerexic droped from about 130 to 85 pounds in that amount of time. If you are seriously worried eat things with higher fat instead of low fat stuff and then you will gain more weight back without acually eating more. also the extra exersise that comes along with it being summer could have acounted to some of your weight loss too. like in the summer i also eat way less than i do in the winter.
If you think you have a problem talk to your mom. if she was thinking something was wrong she would have prob said something to you.
wretchedmelody answered Monday July 31 2006, 10:46 am: I was anorexic for 8 months. That doesn't sound like a long time.. But I wasn't fat to start with. I was 4'11'' and 96 pounds. After 8 months I was 5'0'' and 85 pounds. I couldn't possibly loose any more weight because I was working out and gaining muscle weight.
It would only take 3 or 4 sips of water and 1/4 of a peanut butter and jelly sandwich to make me so full I thought I'd throw up.
Because when you're anorexic, which you probably are - just not a "serious, case classic" anorexic - your stomach shrinks. Then when you eat, your stomach bloats and you look almost pregnant and you feel fat which makes you eat less... Well anyway, your stomach is shrunk so it won't hold as much.
If you want to - and you need to - stretch it back some, just try to eat smaller, well proportioned meals every day. It's hard when school starts back, but it's really healthy to eat 5 or 6 times a day instead of 3. Like eat at 6:30AM, then 9:30AM, then 11:30AM [or 12:00PM], then 3:30PM, and 5:30PM. This will help stretch your stomach. Remember the key is balanced. Like for breakfast, milk and 1 piece of toast. Then the next meal water and a piece of fruit - or if you're in a pinch, a breakfast or energy bar. Then crackers and cheese, some veggies, 1/2 a low-fat turkey sandwich or even "cracker stackers" - lowfat turkey, cheese and crackers.
It's better not to eat really late. It's hard for me because my dad doesn't get home usually until after 7:30PM and my mom wants us to eat together. On the nights that he doesn't get home until late, I just have to eat without them because I don't eat after 7:00. I like to eat at like 6:15 and no later - nothing after 7:00PM at all. It's better for your digestion, sleeping, and body.

Its really hard because i finally got down to 105-110 abnd i got locked up...i gained so much weight you'll never believe it. I came out weighing 160!!! Now mi down to 150.. its pathetic...The only way how i got over my anorexia is learning to love myself. Spending time alone and not worrying about what others think about me. Loving me because I am me. You need to do some serious soul searchin...and it wont happen right away but i promise that it will work! if it doesnt feel free to cuss me out. But trust me on this one.
