ok so i always wear pretty much the same color make-up every day and i really wanna try something new does ne one have suggestions? like what color eye shadows and eyeliners would look good? thanks
i have light brown hair and light green eyes if that helps = ]
I know we are talking about makeup hear but did you know that Purple really brings out green eyes? If you want to keep your eyes light.. Use yellow I know that might seem wierd to use yellow, but it really goes with green eyes but thats just if your going to church, or work. it keeps them at a light green. If you go to the store and get black eyeliner and get covergirl eyeshadow. Look at the ones that have 3 colors in one eyeshadow case. Look on the back and get the colors that say double expresso, mocha lotte, and sugar rush. The darkest really helps with your eyes. Also a pale green with a silky sheen will help!

Wear black eyeliner, but only on either above the eye, or below...you don't really want to do both beacause that would be a little much. Neutral colors such as brown, light brown, mocca, etc. would also go great for you because you have light brown hair. You also might want to wear different colors of eyeshadow such as light pink, blue, etc. and you can wear them at once, or do a multiple of colors like 2 or 3 shades on the same eye. Sephora has great make-up and the combinations are glamourous. Here's the website:
Melody answered Sunday July 16 2006, 5:44 pm: I have an idea for you.
Have you ever heard of a brand called "Almay Intense i-color?" I love it, it makes the color of people's eyes so pretty. I have the one made for blue eyes, and you will need to buy the one for green. The set includes eyeshadow, eyeliner, and mascara. Remember though, you have to buy it seperately. It's usually beside each other though. Put the purple on the lids of your eyes, the dark green on the crease, and the light green below your eyebrows.
For your foundation & blush I would suggest "Dream Matte Mousse". I can't tell you what colors to get, because I don't know what color face or skin tone you have. So you'll have to figure that one out on your own ;)

For eyeliner, I think a brown would look nice. I'm not sure what you wear everyday, but those are some tips. If you need anymore, just leave it in my inbox.

JillandAmanda answered Sunday July 16 2006, 10:53 am: well i know that with brown hair they usually say green. but with green eyes they say blue. so i would say look for a bluish-greenish color for eye shadow.:} stick with black eyeliner.
Vicky answered Sunday July 16 2006, 10:14 am: I have green eyes too and
.....black eyeliner makes the green stand out more and defines the eyes.............
.......blue eyeliner also looks quite good...........
............a goldy, grey,or purple eyeshadow looks best too...........
i have a green eyeliner but it doesn't do much. Plus i also read somewhere that wearing an eyeshadow that is the same colour as your eyes i.e green, doesn't make them standout so green eyeshadow would do absolutely nothing for you!!! :)
Jenesmane answered Sunday July 16 2006, 9:19 am: I would say maybe something classy like a thin black eyeliner, white glimmery eyeshadow, and a little mascara. It's kinda hard to tell with out seeing you, but also maybe even a green eyeliner to make your eyes POP!!!
