please read! i've got a broken leg and it has to stay in a cast for weeks. I mean, ages! Im stuck with not a lot to do so im just eating loads of rubbish and im worried im gonna get fat.
how can i exercise so that i dont put on loadsa weight without actually hurtin my leg real bad?

try doin situps,stretch you arms and the other leg.thise may not help so try eating foods somedays. ]
if you are worried about your stomace do some crunches and situps. ]
I broke my ankel playing basketball. I was the same way i didn't want to gain weight because i am a runner, i run track and cross country. So i decided that i would still go out and shoot around. You don't have to be running constantly to stay in shape. But please wait till your leg feels better. I would lay my crutches down and hop after the ball and i was strengthening my other leg while doing so. i hope this helps you out. ]
Interestingly enough i was in a cast for 3 months, during the winter and had to stay home from school the whole time, and i lost 30lbs. lol. just if you have crutches, then take it slow and get up everyday and walk as far as you dare to go before it hurts to much. and take care about what you eat, eat half of what you usually would. ]
i had a broken leg too i sat on my couch and lifted weights also i walked a LOT on my crutch so i could stay fit good luck anymore questions ask me cuz ive been there im here to help ]
well you can try like doing sit ups and put one leg up and one leg out in front of u.

Good question, and its great to see that you actually want to make the effort to stay in reasonable shape despite your injury. If I were you I would not worry so much about the exercises you do and how hard you work, whatever your upper body can handle is sufficient, just enough to get a pump and then stop. Focus instead on the diet, as your body won't be at it's peak performance and burning as many calories. Keep your eating plan as clean as possible and I know it's very hard to do, I've been there too. Take care of the leg and just take your time, you have plenty of it for the rest of your life to get in shape, just do what you can for now. ]
Well dont excersize if its broken! Just eat healthy, portion control, water is something really good you can drink to. you could probably work on other parts of your body, like stomach and upper body. Well goood luck! ]
Honestly you cant really excercise and eat horribly and plan to lose weight. I mean take it from me my dad is a body builder...alot of weight comes with diet..so do crunches and start eating fruits instead of sweets, chicken instead of mickey d's and salads instead of chips...turst me it will help. ]
Afternoon walks. Take a walk outside in the evening. Easy walks, and that shall do the trick. ]
well the first thing you should definately do is not eat too much junk. Consuming sugary and fatty foods without exercising frequently will deffinately gain you some pounds. besides that, depending on how much of your leg is broken, i sugest floor excercises such as crunches(lie flat on the ground with hands behind head. lift torso and legs up at the same time a few inches off the ground and hold for a few seconds. repeat as many times as you wish) also try to work on your upper body strenghth. you could try one-legged pushups or (if your in a wheelchair) you could even push yourself up from the chair using the bars on either side and hold for a few seconds(obviously make sure the chair is in lock mode while doing this) try pull-ups too, and while your doing them try to squeeze your stomach muscles in at the same time. i hope you get better soon! hope i heled =] ]
