what is better for you regular or diet soda?

and is margerine or regular butter better for you?

me and my friend are debating over this.

1. regular soda-----cuz the sugar is less "fattening" (so a father sed)

2. margerine--- because it is less fattining

regular soda, because it has less chemicals, and real butter because margarine is made by putting hydrogen atoms in saturated fat, making trans fat, wich sticks to your arteries worse than butter, wich has saturated fat.

Well, your soda question has been answered, so I'll do the butter one.

Margerine is BAD. Science has shown Margerine contains dehydrogenated fats. That's the stuff that gives you heart attacks.

Regular soda doesnt really do much, Diet soda is worse for you bcuz it has alot of eatting substances to curb your diet and it puts alot of stuff in your system.

im not sure about the whole butter thing:)

All soda is bad technically speaking but I still love it! Diet is a extreme no~no. Yes your saving on calories but ALL diet drinks have an indredigent called Aspartame. The side effects of drinking diet soda's long term can lead to brain tumors, headaches, vision loss, and many other neurological problems..

Margarine is better than butter. Not only is it cheaper but it is more healthier for you.

hi! um i am pretty sure both types of soda are really bad for you. because the sugar eats away at your teeth and the dye stains them. and even though its claimed to be 'diet', there is fake sugar in there that does basically the same thing as regular sugar. because sugar is a simple carb which eventually builds up on your body as fat. so neither soda is good at all but if i had to pick i would say the regular.
im not sure about the butter + margarine but someone said that margarine contains melted plastic ahahha so thats kinda weird.

Regular soda and diet soda will kill you all the same and whether it is the straight up sugar like in regular soda or a sugar substitute like aspartame in diet soda..you're not drinking anything beneficial.

Butter and margarine are both loaded with trans-fat and actually if you cook with margarine the heat changes its chemical composition and it can become a carcinogen. Stick with butter if you must and drink water.

We learned this in health!
Believe it or not, normal coke is better for you!
Diet soda has so many more chemicals in it to keep the flavor that it really just isn't as good in flavor, or health wise. So if you're going to drink soda go all out and get the regular kind!
I'm not so sure about the butter question though...
