2 years younger than me??
allright here we go again..
do you think its weird if someone likes you that is like 2 years younger than you and you might have feelings for them too? because im going into 11th grade and this guy is goin into 9th grade and hes really nice and everything! its just the age difference i just dont know. i shouldnt let it get to me but i just find it maybe weird or like i cant get anyone else but someone yougner than me? and people might think i look desperate or something

To me..i wouldnt care what people think. is just numbers that take the best of you.id got out with that boy if i were you.but,if you're still scard dont tell anyone.keep it steady.like wait when you have the the guts to offically tell your closest and his closest friends.

Hey, i was in the same situation with a girl. To tell you the truth if you really like him then there is nothing to worry about. I mean if you were 34 and a guy was 32 would you be fretting about the age difference. No i would think not. The reason being is because when you become that age you become more mature, and you can reach that maturity. Thats what love does. So dont be afraid to be mature.

heyy giirl... um I definitly think that is is perfectally fine! there's an age different, but if you like him, and he likes you than definitly go out with him!!!@ and its sooo worth the chance. some ppl might make fun of you though, for dating a freshman, but thats ok. the people who do that are not your friends and their just jerks!

Both of you will be in high school this year, so it's really not that big of a deal. If you like him and he likes you, the age gap shouldn't get in the way of your relationship. If you feel wierd about it you shouldn't waste your time on the relationship at all because it will just end in disaster if you continue it. As for people thinking that you're desperate for dating a younger guy... If they want to say that, just let them. You know how high school is... everyone's always in someone else's business.

It seems like as you get older an age difference wont matter anymore but as long as both of you feel comfortable with the afe difference, it is okay. If the parents are okay with the age differences then I think that you should go out with him if you like him and he treats you well. You might as well give it a try. if yuou really like this guy then it wont matter what people think of you two together and it shouldn't matter. People who think you are desperate are probably just jealous.

No, I don't think it's weird. It doesn't make you look desperate either, it's only a 2 year age differance. A lot of couples in high school date someone that's a few years younger then them && no one makes fun of them. If you both like each other then nothing should hold you back. Don't listen to what other people have to say, it's your life, not theirs.

I dated a junior when I was a freshman and nobody saw this as a desperate act or weird or anything like that. In fact, there were a lot of people in my school as freshman who dated juniors. Just go for it!! In high school, age isn't really that important. Just have fun and go for it!
