My hair is really frizzy and thick and it takes me 2-3 hours to straighten it everyday!! Im thinking about having it perfesionly straightened! do you no if it works? does it ruin your hair?
beachpeach answered Wednesday June 21 2006, 8:04 pm: I think that if you are yusing a cheap hair straightener it is probably already damaging you ahir much more than getting it chemicallyy straightened. It is rather expensive and depending on hair lasts frmo 2-6 eweeks usually. Just make sure to take proper care ofy ou hair after it is chemically straightened. A good way to straigthen the hair is the Chi system and if you use their products to help maintain the straight hair you will probably have the best results. Good luck and you will look great!
This hair straightening system is not too difficult to find. A lot of salons offer it. The best way to find a place that will do it is to call your facvorite salon to set if they do it and if they do you can probably set up a consultation where they can give you their professinal opinion on the best way to deal with your hair. If that salon can't preform it, they might be able to refre you to a salon that can. You cnan also just purchase the CHI straightener and products at places like Ulta or online. It also helps immensely to use the Chi products to keep your hair healthy and using a straightener makes it even more manageable. It doesn't ruin your hair if you take care of it. And your hair will react the same as it would to you straightening it - only it'll last and look better. Theyre really really expensive though - I think my friend had to pay soemthing like $100 an hour when she gets hers done.

It does work and looks awesome as long as you make sure you do what you need to do! [ Basketball3846's advice column | Ask Basketball3846 A Question ]
