tanning (sorry i didnt know what topic to put it under)
Question Posted Sunday May 28 2006, 10:22 am
ok, i get tanned VERY easily. I literally just have to stand outside for about 10 minutes on a warm&sunny day and my skin becomes noticably darker. The thing is, I hate this. When I become tan, my skin looks oily and dirty, even though its not. Is there any way I can prevent myself from getting so tan? BESIDES staying indoors because im a very active person and that is almost impossible for me.
S_C answered Sunday May 28 2006, 6:15 pm: If you wear sunscreen with a REALLY high SPF then it'll be harder for you to tan. Such as SPF 45, 55, or (I think there's one) 65.
aquababe1 answered Sunday May 28 2006, 3:56 pm: like the other people said, get a high spf. the highest kind i've seen is 55, and you should look ones that say "oil free" which might help if your skin can look oily and dirty. also use an astringent when you wake up and go to bed and that will help as well. Also you could try wearing a long sleeve shirt, even though its hot. Avoid wearing black as well because it reflects the sun or something like that. Alos, people would die to be tan, enjoy it. If you look dirty and oily, moisturize your skin and exfoliate it. Hope this helps and have a good summer.
