Bella'sAdvice answered Sunday May 7 2006, 4:41 pm:
Hi the motorola is worth buying because you'll get great service and just to let you know even if it drops in to water it still will work perfectly fine after you blow dry it out and it would be as new as it was before because believe me my phone dropped in water over 23 times and i still use it so just get it ,it's better than buying one of those other phones they won't even last as much as the 6 time you've droped on the ground or in water so trust that phone is a great pick and I know it

We have a running joke among my friends. Motorolas have a seriously bad reputation for crashing and all sorts- everytime one messes up and someone bitches, everyone else just looks superior and bellows "Motorooooooolllaaaa!"
That said, both I and my best mate have the Razr. (My friend has had his since they came out in the UK which must be a year or so. Mine's about three/four months old). It works fine as a phone as long as you remember one simple fact- do not overload it!!
If you are doing something taxing (like sending a message to everyone in your phonebook) don't start fiddling and playing golf on it or whatever, cos you'll only frazzle it and lose a bunch of information on freeze it up. Provided you treat it with care however, its a pretty cool phone, looks good and has decent features. Also other people have said it gets dirty. I don't know if they are having a problem I'm not. The outer screen on mine is covered in crud and fingerprints, but it lights up when in use so I don't really care.

well this a tough one caue my siter had the same phone and she didnt like it at all but she has pretty high standards.
she also mentioned that most of them would be staticky when you would use them .and they werent closed right, so dirt would get into the screen. if you use it alot the battery wont last very ling and you have to keep charging it over and over. a lot of the people i know that have that phone they complain that the keys dont work.
i dont want to bag on motorolla or anything but i dont think that its worth it.
so yeah it kinda sucks. but if you do get a razor get the Samsung black razor it has a lot of very awesome features on it!!!

I have that phone and like it.
I don't think it gets "bad", but then again, my previous cell phone was very old. I use my cell phone a lot more now that I have the razor one.

Well it just depends on how you handle it. If you are really careful with it, then it should be totally fine, but one small little mistake, like dropping it on hard ground, could easily break it because they are so thin. They are pretty cool though, but I don't think they are worth it, just because if you drop it once, you have to like get a new phone. Its pretty dumb. Maybe the prices will go down later in the year and you can get one when it is cheaper, and it will be worth it.

I know so many people that have that phone and from what they have told me it's not worth getting it. It gets dirty within seconds no matter how many times you wipe it. You would be much better off with another phone.
