Dear_lynda answered Thursday May 4 2006, 4:09 pm: It could be a bladder infection and if not treated could turn into a kidney infection. If it only happens occasionally, maybe you're wiping too hard? Just blot and see if it still happens. [ Dear_lynda's advice column | Ask Dear_lynda A Question ]
sizzlinmandolin answered Wednesday May 3 2006, 9:18 pm: It sounds quite normal to me. Just as long as it doesn't hurt and goes away after a few seconds it's not a problem at all. It happens to everyone. You don't have to tell your doctor or your parents. That's silly. If ever it hurts or the feeling does not go away that's when you say something. I hope I helped and good luck. [ sizzlinmandolin's advice column | Ask sizzlinmandolin A Question ]
lookthroughme answered Wednesday May 3 2006, 8:32 pm: If it starts to be more painful every time you pee, your pee is cloudy, or you start to notice a little blood in your pee, and these symptoms last for more than 24 hours than you probably have a Urinary Tract Infection, which happens to almost everyone at some point in their life, and is really not a big problem... go to the doctor and they will give you antibiotics.
Also, drink cranberry juice and lots of water. :) [ lookthroughme's advice column | Ask lookthroughme A Question ]
Vikki27 answered Wednesday May 3 2006, 6:44 pm: It could be that you have cystitis or some other form of urinary infection. However, if it is only now and then and not consistent or worsening, this is unlikely to be the case.
Does it happen around the time of your period at all? Sometimes periods can make you feel a little cystitis-y just before and after you bleed so this may be causing it.
If this doesn't sound right either, you would be best advised to visit your doctor. If there are no other symptoms (pain anywhere in your body or blood in your urine, etc)then its best to get checked out to make sure everything is okay 'down there'. I doubt there is a problem and it might be something as simple as a weak bladder but you can never be too careful. Drink plenty of fluids (cranberry juice in particular can help to lessen the burning sensation) and see your doctor for further advice. [ Vikki27's advice column | Ask Vikki27 A Question ]
orphans answered Wednesday May 3 2006, 6:44 pm: I'm not sure. It might be harmless, but your best bet would to talk to your doctor about it. Like they always say, better safe than sorry. :) [ orphans's advice column | Ask orphans A Question ]
