Weird situation here.
Or is it a situation at all?
I'm 13, and a girl, and this year I started at a new school. Our grade is reallly small, and there are 2 kind of...defined groups of girls. One is the preps, who get a lot more attention. The other group, which I'm pretty much in, can't really have a name, or label, because we're all really different.
Ok so at lunch today, it was so annoying, they don't talk. And it's not like they're just not talking to me, I know they're not mad, they invite me to their houses a lot- they just don't talk to eachother. No one is mad or anything, it's almost like they have nothing to say. They're not into fashion, or music, celebrity stuff, school, any other girl stuff, or any other HUMAN stuff. It's like they never watch the news, either. There is a never ending list of things to talk about in this world! They just don't say a word. When I start a conversation about ANYTHING, all I get is a "uh huh" or "mmhm".
I don't really think these are my friends...I mean we never do anything friends do. We've had like 5 sleepovers, and they were all really boring...to me at least...like I've never been mean to any of them. I'm not really sure if they like me. I am, what you could call "acquaintances" with the other group of girls, but not real friends. And I can't be friends with them because I'm just not preppy and I would never fit in with them. Even though I hear them talking about stuff and doing stuff I would always do.
I'm really confused because I've always had a best friend at school...and now I don't. And I really hate it, and I don't know what to do. If you read all this or you can help thank you so much... (link)

Sit with the preppy girls sometimes...talk to them...you dont have to dress like them or "be" like them...just be your interesting, informed self and i bet you will find that you "fit in" with them in no time.

Is this weird or not? My ex liked babysitting kids for like hours at his church. He never wanted to spend time with me. Plus he told me he was sexually molested by some guy at his church, which to me makes it even freakier he likes watching these kids. (link)

You have to try to get your ex into counseling or tell an adult, maybe not at the church where it is supposed to be safe to tell, but your mom or dad might be able to help you. Most people that are molested go on to be molesters themselves, so it is important that the kids he is watching be safe. You must tell someone you trust for their sake.

OK My mom just got fired because she had a blood clot in her lung and now can't do anything. My dads job dont pay enough. We have the bills and my dads ex-wife is a jerk. She makes us pay child support and now that my mom is not working we will only be able to pay her. Then we will have to hunt to get food. The bodem line. I dont know how to help her. I just wanna die. What can I doooooooooo? (link)

Your mom can certainly get social security disability which will help with your bills.Your mom can also file a claim for wrongful termination of her job. Your father can go back to court and show that your income has changed and file for less child support. You can always help around the house doing anything that needs doing. I want you to remember this, though, it's not your responsibility to make sure there is food on the table. You're thirteen years old, you need to worry about your grades, school and just let the adults worry about the big things. Let your parents know you love them every day.

Evict her out of YOUR house, call the police and have her arrested, tell your son that you want him out of your house if he doesnt agree with your decisions. May I ask why your 45 year old son is living with you and doesnt have his own place?

okay...i'm 13, and just lost my virginaty yesterday. actually, i'm not sure if i did or didn't. i was raped by my next door neighbor who is 16, and has a gf. also, my bf came to find me, and caught me being raped, but he thought that we were actually having sex. now he's mad and won't talk to me because i won't have sex with him. i really need help talking to him and everything. and should i tell my parents? or not? help!!! Tell your parents NOW. Call the rape crisis center in the phone book NOW. It's not your fault, so don't sweat your boyfriend and his negative vibes. TELL SOMEONE NOW!!

ok this is kinda gross but yesterday when i got home from school i had to go to the bathroom really bad and i was kinda constipated.. and then when i wiped there was really little blood..but then when i went to sleep, on my underwear was a lot of brown..so idk if it's my period or what ? it didnt really look like it, idk though
could it of been my period or no?

Yes, it's probably your period. Most likely it will start this way each time as mine do (ick) Your mom should have already talked with you about your periods and what to do, if she hasn't, tell her or someone you trust, so they can get you fixed up with pads or tampons.

every so often after i go pee, it feels like i still have to pee,but i dont.its not exactly a burning feeling, but sort of.what could it be?

It could be a bladder infection and if not treated could turn into a kidney infection. If it only happens occasionally, maybe you're wiping too hard? Just blot and see if it still happens.

my contract of 2 years is ending in june and i have cingular and was planning on getting the motorolla razor phone.. i just checked on cingular.com to see the retail price and it said $150 ..but since my contract is ending could i get the phone for cheaper or would it still be $150?

I had the same problem, but I found out too late !! Call Cingular and they will give you a free razor phone WITH your same phone number!! I dont know if you have to sign another two year contract tho, that might be a consideration.

I'm confused. There are all these different terms for various body types: pear shape, hourglass, apple shape... I don't know what type I am! Explanations on the internet are often vague -- do these generalisations apply to all women? I'm not sure where I fit in.
Let's see, if it helps... I'm 164cm, 52kg, with a well-proportioned chest (relative to my body), fairly narrow waist, large thighs and hips (but otherwise slender limbs, e.g. arms), just a bit of belly, and... umm, a well-rounded backside. Does anybody know what body type I am? (link)

Why worry about what body type you have? We're all so different and we change as we age. You might have been a very slender child, but now you're a girl, with the dreaded "baby fat" who will change into a woman who goes through stages. Embrace each of those changes, love who you are not what you look like. And puhleeeeze, don't compare yourself to women in magazines who have been digitally altered and airbrushed !! Eat right and exercise and please yourself first and foremost.

When you first start your periods, they tend to come at odd times, but when you see a pattern write it on a calender. It will usually be about 28 days from the first day you start, but don't panic if its as long as 35 days. Just keep track and you will soon find what is normal for you.

I am so in love with one of my friends. I can't stop thinking about him. He is a good friend and shares his problems with me. He always cracks jokes and we always have friendly arguments. The best way to start a relationship is with friendship, now the hard part...telling him that you want more. Why won't you flirt with him? You can find out alot by asking him questions, general-get-to-know him types. Ask him what he likes in a girlfriend, get him talking about himself, his likes and dislikes. You know what his problems are, ask him what his joys are. If you still think you two are a good fit, ask him out...to a movie, bowling, skiing, any activity you both like to do.
